v       Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2010

v       The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2),

OR

v       Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), pre-degree examination (10+2),

OR

v       An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE) for general candidates, 5% relaxation for North Eastern states and SC, ST & OBC candidates.

v       Candidate should be medically fit

v       Only for Female Candidates

 

Admission Procedure

 

Admission will be on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination conducted by SMU. Counseling and Admission will be at SMU, Gangtok. Personal presence of candidate during counseling is essential. No postponement of date of counseling under any circumstances is permitted. The following documents in original & one set of attested photocopies are required at the time of counseling/admission:

v       10+2 Mark sheet

v       Date of Birth Certificate

v       SLC/Transfer Certificate

v       Migration Certificate

v       Four Passport size Photographs

v       Certificate of proof from appropriate authority by SC/ST/OBC candidates, applying for the Course.
