Minimum qualification for admission to the 1st year of B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration is a pass certificate in 10+2 level or Senior Secondary or equivalent examination. Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination in March/ April can also apply. Candidates placed in compartment in the qualifying examination are not eligible for admission.

Applications for admission to the 1st year of B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration are invited in December/ January every year. Notification to this effect is made by NCHMCT in leading National newspapers. Joint Entrance Examination is held in the month of April/ May on a Sunday (notified in the advertisement) at different cities throughout the country. Based on performance in the written test, candidates are short listed for centralized counseling in Delhi in the month of June. Allotment of Institute is on merit-cum-performance basis in the written test.
