The candidate should have passed PUC or 10+2 pattern & 22 years in age.  These institutes would be recognized by the central or the state government.  Additionally, any academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to such 10+2 courses by the Bar Council of India are also eligible.  The selection of the meritorious students is done on the basis of their credentials and personal interview.

The application should be duly filled in and submitted with the following:

Photographs 4 nos. (Two each of passport size & stamp size) and

Two self addressed envelope

The candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree from Bangalore University or any other University recognized as equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in all the Degree examinations put together. The student should belong to the 10+02+03 pattern of studies. In case of SC/ST students, the criteria shall be governed by the Government orders applicable during that period. (40% SC/ST)
