Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Medical and Dental) Entrance Exam 2013

Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma Courses & MDS Courses for the year 2013-14

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into Medical and Dental Post Graduate Degree / Diploma Courses in (MD/MS/PG Diploma/MDS) for the year 2013-14.

The seats are available in the Medical and Dental Colleges of Andhra Pradesh which are affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.

(2.)  Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad,

(3.)  Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal,

(4.)  Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam,

(5.)  Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada,

(6.)  Guntur Medical College, Guntur,

(7.)  SV Medical College, Tirupathi,

(8.)  Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool and

(9.)  Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada)

The Entrance Test will be held on 17-03-2013 at the above nine (9) Medical Colleges from 10-00 a.m. to 1-00 p.m

For PG Medical Entrance Test: Only the candidates those who have passed MBBS examination from an Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India and have completed their internship or completing on or before 31-03-2013 are eligible to appear the Entrance Test subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations.  

For MDS Entrance Test: Only the candidates who have passed BDS examination from an institution recognised by the Dental Council of India and have completed their internship or completing on or before 31-03-2013 are eligible to appear subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations.

Selection: The selection of the candidates into PG Degree / Diploma courses is based on the merit in Entrance Test.  The Entrance Test will be held on 17-03-2013 at the above nine (9) Medical Colleges from 10-00 a.m. to 1-00 p.m. The candidate should attend Entrance Test where he / she submitted the filled in application.

The selection of the candidates into MDS courses is based on their merit in Entrance Test.  The Entrance Test will be held on 17-03-2013 at Govt., Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad from 11-00 a.m. to 12-30 p.m. 

Application Form: The on line application form will be available on the website www.pgntruhs.org from 09th February, 2013, Saturday to 15th February, 2013, Friday

The candidates are advised to take a print out of the prospectus/instructions to fill the application form from the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in or from www.pgntruhs.org before proceeding to fill the application form

The candidate should fill the online application form available in the website

The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the prospectus by keeping all the certificates, scanned photo with signature at the bottom of the photo and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the photo after the payment of e-challan in any SBI branch

The candidate has to pay the amount indicated in the e-challan at any branch of SBI and submit the application using the link submit application

The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances

The candidate has to pay the fee in any SBI branch on or before 15th February, 2013 using the challan before 05.00 p.m.

Application Submission: After payment of fee at State Bank of India, applicants have to visit the website www.pgntruhs.org on next working day to submit the application

The login screen will appear for the candidate to validate the payment details

The screen will ask for application number as login ID and date of birth as password to proceed for the application submission

The candidate should submit the print out of the filled in online application alongwith the attested copies of required certificates and SBI e-challan (university copy) towards the registration fee to the Convener, PG Admissions Committee, Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada either by post or in person on or before 05.00 p.m. on 18th February, 2013

The candidate shall clearly super scribe on the cover the name of the course applied for PG-MET-2013

Availability of online application on website www.pgntruhs.org: 09th February, 2013, Saturday, 01.00 p.m. to 15th February, 2013, Friday, 05.00 p.m.

Last date for submission printout of filled in application: 18th February, 2013, Monday upto 05.00 p.m.

Cut off date for completion of service/experience/internship: 31st March, 2013

Availability of hall tickets for download on www.pgntruhs.org from: 13th March, 2013, Wednesday, 10.00 a.m. to 14th March, 2013, Thursday, 05.00 p.m.

Date of entrance test: 17th March, 2013, Sunday, 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.

Commencement of classes: 02nd May, 2013

Closure of admission: 31st May, 2013
