    About Ahmedabad Management Association:

    AMA is one of the promoters and founder member of All India Management Association, the apex body for management profession in India, and has been collaborating and participating in all its educational and professional activities offered throughout the country.


    AMA is also an ISO 9001 certified organization and an approved institute for Management Training by Government of Gujarat.


    AMA has received 16 times (1990 to 2008, the Best Local Management Association Award Category-I by the All India Management Association for its Outstanding Contributions in professional management. AMA also won the National Excellence Award 2009-10 in recognition of its contribution to the professional management through its innovative programmes.


    We are situated in the posh area of Ahmedabad, AMA’s 30,000 square metres Management Complex was set up in 1997 and the complex is surrounded by well-known institutes like IIM, ATIRA, PRL, Gujarat University, B K School of Management, L D Engineering College and Polytechnic College.


    During its existence of nearly fifty-seven years, AMA has conducted several programmes from which a large number of individual and organizations have benefited.


    AMA today commands the highest respect and recognition from all quarter be it Business, Profession, Industry, Government or Academics. And this, not only in Ahmedabad or Gujarat, but all over India. From a handful members in 1956, our family today has around 400 institutional members and over 3000 individual members. This are people who come together on this forum, to exchange ideas, information and experience that enrich their managerial skills and competence.


    The programmes that AMA conducts are always need-based. To enable maximum people to take advantage of our facilities/activities, we impart quality services and programmes at a nominal fee.

    Eligibility:

    Candidates will be interviewed at the time of submission of Application. Application must accompany copies of Degree Certificate, final year degree mark sheet and two photographs. Selected candidates must ensure payment of fees within the stipulated time

    Participants are required to sign an undertaking at the time of paying the fees; it is advised that they must read all the details given in the undertaking before signing and paying their fees

    Upon admission, each participant will be issued identity card stating the Program title and validity of the I-card. Participants are advised to keep the I-cards during their sessions and presence in AMA campus

    The I-cards will also help participants as an introduction during the project assignments/ visits to companies and meeting with various corporate executives.

    Award of Diploma

    Participants attended minimum 80% of the total sessions held and obtaining overall 45% marks out of 100 (Examinations, Project work and Attendance & behavioural attributes) will be awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Banking

    The break-up of various components of evaluation is given below:

    Examination: 60

    Project Work: 30

    Behavioral attributes & Attendance: 10

    Total: 100


    How to apply:

    Fees for Diploma

    Total fee payable is Rs 15,000 (including Service Tax). Under no circumstances the fees paid will be refunded

    On receipt of deposit, Library Card will be issued. Two books will be issued for one month. The Library will be open between 10.00 am to 8.00 pm on all working days and between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm on Sundays
