The All India Management Association (AIMA) was created as an apex body of professional management with active support of the Government of India and Industry in 1957. AIMA is a group- a body to pool management thoughts in the country, a forum to develop a national managerial ethos, an organisation to facilitate the furtherance of the management profession in the country.
AIMA is a federation of Local Management Associations (LMAs). AIMA today affiliates 64 LMAs across the country and 2 co-operating management associations i.e. Qatar Indian Management Association and Mauritius Management Association.
AIMA has established close linkages with over 3000 institutions and over 30,000 individual professionals directly and through network of the Local Management Associations. AIMA’s activities include Distance management Education, management Development Programmes, National Events, Competitions, Research, Publication and Testing Services.
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Management or allied subjects like Commerce, Humanities, Science, Engineering and Law etc., or a PGDM/PGDITM approved by AICTE, or Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy or any other professional qualifications, which are considered equivalent to two years full time Master Degree by the University, with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade along with minimum 50% marks in Graduation.
And
Work Experience: The candidate should be a full time employee with at least five years of experience (after post-graduation) at Managerial level in Industry/Government/Ministry/ NGO / Defense/ Military organization or a full time Faculty at a Management Institute approved by AICTE or affiliated to a University with at least five years of experience after post-graduation.
In case the candidate does not remain in employment for whatsoever reasons during the programme, then he/she has to seek permission from the Research Committee for further continuance of the programme.
Admission Procedure
Entrance Test: Research Management Aptitude Test (RMAT) to be held on 19th March 2022 (Saturday) through Remote Proctored Internet Based Mode (IBT) followed by an Interview for RMAT shortlisted candidates. The syllabus outlines for the Entrance Test (RMAT) and the criteria to qualify are available on the website.

The eligibility prescribed for appearing the MAT 2018 is as follows:
Qualification Requirement: Candidate must be graduate to be eligible for MAT.Graduation can be completed in any discipline.
Appearing Candidates: Final year graduation appearing candidates can also apply.
No Minimum Marks: There is no minimum marks requirement to be eligible for MAT. However, candidates have to secure passing marks in graduation.
No Age Limit: No prescribed age limit and number of attempts for appearing MAT 2018.

The details of MAT 2018 Exam pattern is given below:
Exam Mode: MAT is conducted in online (CBT) as well as offline mode (PBT).
Type of Questions: MAT is an objective type test with multiple-choice questions.
Number of Questions: The test contains 200 questions divided into 5 sections.
Sections Covered: There will be total 5 sections in MAT exam.
Exam Duration: The test is of 2 hours 30 minutes.
Marking Scheme: One mark will be given to each correct answer.
Negative Marking: 1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

MAT 2018 Registration
Candidates desiring admission in postgraduate management courses must necessarily fill MAT application form 2018 through online mode.
The online application form has been released from 20th December 2017.
There is no offline application is available to apply for MAT exam.
Application should be completed in all respects including the filling of all necessary details and uploading of signature & photograph.
After few days of the submission of application form, applicants can check their status of application form.
Candidates can submit the online application till 26th January 2018.
Registration Fee:
All the category candidates are required to pay Rs. 1271/- as application fee. GST will also be added. Payment can be processed through credit card/debit card and net banking.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility for Ph. D course (Open candidates)
A candidate seeking admission to the course of study leading to the award of a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy must possess at least one of the following qualifications:
1. (a) Medical qualification: MBBS/BDS with minimum 55% aggregate marks or MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.Ch in the subject concerned or Diplomate of National Board of Examination. Candidates who have obtained any of these degrees from medical colleges which are not recognized by the Medical Council of India shall not be eligible to apply.
(b) Nursing Qualification: Candidates holding M.Sc. degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Nursing Speciality will also be eligible for Ph. D admission in College of Nursing.
2. Non-Medical – For non-medical candidate’s eligibility shall be Master’s Degree (two years course) awarded by Indian Universities or equivalent in the subject as per requirement of the project. Candidates holding M.Sc. (Other than M.Sc. Nursing) M.Tech. degree & BAMS will be eligible for the Non-Medical Qualification Category.
Candidate possessing Masters Degree through distant learning course shall not be eligible.
While seeking project details from the department, desired qualification of Masters Degree to be suitable for project work should be mentioned by the respective department. The same will be displayed along with Number of Seats & Department.
Candidate having eligibility under non-medical category should have at least 60% marks in the last eligibility examination qualified.

· General / OBC Category: Rs.1500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
· SC/ST Category: Rs.1200/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
· PWBD Candidates is exempted from any Fee
Mode of payment: Through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking
All applicants are advised to read the Prospectus and Help Manual carefully before starting Online Registration and ensure that no column is left blank. In the event of rejection of the application form, no correspondence/request for reconsideration, will be entertained. Applicants are also advised to download and take a print of the Registration Form. They should retain a copy of Registration Form till the completion of Admission Process.
Important Notice
1. Please fill the Online Application carefully. It may not be possible to make changes after Registration as indicated.
2. Any Amendment/Rectification/Change/Editing is NOT allowed in Name, Category, Department and PWBD status after submitting the application fee through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking and images once uploaded can not be changed later.
3. Other changes in the online Registration/Application i.e. Nationality, Sponsored to General, General to Sponsored etc. will NOT be permitted after 16.12.2019.

Admission Procedure
a) Candidates with minimum 50% in Graduation (under 10+2+3 scheme) from a recognized University are exempted from the entrance test for admission.
b) Admission in PGDM / PGDITM can be granted on the basis of MAT/ CAT/ XAT/ ATMA / any other state level test. Interested candidates with below 50% in graduation are required to appear in the test to be eligible for the interview. There will be no cut off score.
c) Interested Candidates if not appeared in any mentioned test and with less than 50% in graduation, if desirous for admission in the same session are required to appear in the Aptitude test.
