Admission Process

Selection to the B.Tech programme is based on the rank scored in AEEE 2021 / JEE Mains 2021 / SAT Score/ PUEE Score. If JEE Mains is conducted multiple times, all the scores released prior to the?Amrita B.Tech. CSAP (Centralised Seat Allotment Process)?will be looked into and the best result?considered.?

Important Note:?An applicant can participate in CSAP with any of the above rank/score. Most preferred branch opted by the candidate is allotted according to the rank / score. For example, if an applicant’s first preference is Computer & Communication Engineering at Chennai campus, the seat allotment process will check if this first preference can be allotted with any of the PUEE Score / SAT score/ JEE Mains score/ AEEE rank.?

1.            For MD/MS clinical subjects, only those candidates who have not crossed the age of 30 years as on 31st December 2011 are eligible to apply. Date of birth as recorded in the 10th standard / school leaving certificate will be taken as authentic. Age relaxation will be considered for candidates with higher qualification in the concerned subject.

2.            For MD/MS non clinical and all diploma courses,age limit not applicable.

3.            A candidate, who holds MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical council Act, 1956 and has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the state Medical Council after completing compulsory Rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination

4.            Candidates who are undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship /practical training after passing the final qualifying examination and are likely to complete the same on or before 31st March 2011 can take up this examination, provided they can produce the full registration from the MCI or any State Medical Council within one month from the date of admission.

5.            Failure to produce the Registration certificate as above may lead to cancellation of admission and in such an event the candidate will be responsible to pay the Institution all the losses the Institution may suffer on account of such cancellation.

6.            No condonation of compulsory Rotating internship will be accepted.

Not Eligibile:The candidates who have obtained their MBBS degree from Medical Colleges which are not recognized by Medical Council of India.

MD/DNB General Medicine / MD/DNB Pediatrics

1.            Candidates who will not cross the age of 35 years as on 31st December 2011 are eligible to apply. Management reserves the right to grant relaxation in age limit in cases where the candidate possesses qualification higher than the minimum eligibility requirements or has exceptional work experience.

2.            A candidate, who has passed MD / MS degree in not more than two attempts from a recognized Medical College included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical council Act, 1956 and has obtained full registration for MD / MS either from the Medical Council of India or any state Medical Council.

Not Eligibile:

1.            Candidates who have obtained their MBBS / MD, MS degree from Medical Colleges which are not recognized by Medical Council of India.

2.            Candidates who have failed more than once in case of MD, MS or more than three subjects in case of MBBS.

Admission Procedure: Selection is based on the rank obtained in the All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham
