- About Assam Science and Technology University:
Assam Science and Technology University is established on 4th January, 2010 by the Act, 2009 and notified by the Govt. of Assam vide letter No. ATE.222/2008/48, dated 26th Feb, 2010 that the Assam Science and Technology University Act 2009 shall come into force with immediate effect.
The aim of ASTU is to bring all existing Engineering Colleges/Institutions in a common platform to follow same course curriculum. The course curriculum has been designed at par with some of the prestigious universities of National and international repute. This will help our students to compete with other students anywhere.
The University is located at Jalukbari, Guwahati-13.

Educational Qualification: You must have passed Class XII examination with the subjects-Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology.
Citizenship: An aspirant must own a domicile of
Age Limit: His/ Her age must lie between 17 to 21 years.
How to apply:Application Procedure

You must be ready with the following before applying
Valid Email-ID and
Soft copy of the recent Passport Size Photograph
Soft copy of the Signature
Application Fee:
An amount of Rs.600/- had to be paid plus the bank charges.
Admit Card
Admit cards will be released online from 9th April onwards till the day of Examination. It can be generated by entering the Application number and Date of Birth. You are required to take the printout of hall-ticket/ admit-card as it will be required at the examination center for entry.
The admit-card will contain your name, photograph, signature, roll-number, exam-schedule and venue address.
