Association of Haryana State Self Financing Dental Colleges (Regd) is a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 vide Certificate of Registration No. DR/GGN/053 of Year 2009-10 dated 25.06.2009 issued by the District Registrar of Firms & Societies, Gurgaon, Haryana having following basic aims & objectives:-
To represent before appropriate authorities / courts / tribunals and of any forums of the State and Central for the common causes in relation to the administration management and smooth functioning of the self financing dental colleges in the State of Haryana.
To advise or represent to Government, Local Authorities, Bodies on the policies adopted by them in relation to governance of Dental Education, provided that such policies or measures shall have a bearing on dentistry.
To conduct common Entrance Test jointly by all the members of the Society/association in the State of
To make available the benefits of association’s activities to the public at large without restricting the same only to the members of the association.
To undertake health awareness programmes among the villages surrounding the member institutions and spreading the Government sponsored programmes for the benefit of the rural populace.
To create a corpus fund, as determined by the Governing Body for carrying out the activities regarding health related programmes for the betterment of the general public.
To Co-operate with the Central & State Governments, State Fee and Admission Committee and various other organizations in the country and abroad with a view to further promotion of Dental Education.
To advise or represent to Government, Local Authorities, Bodies on the policies adopted by them in relation to governance of Dental Education, provided that such policies or measures have a bearing directly or indirectly on this sector.
To Organize and participate in Trade Fairs, Exhibitions, Seminaries, Meetings, Workshops and Road shows for the promotion of Dental Education in India and all parts of the world so as to maximize the export of Dental Education.
1. He / she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the BDS course;
2. He / she have passed qualifying examination as under: The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education;
Note: Where the course content is not as prescribed for 10+2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo a period of one year pre-professional training before admission to the dental colleges;
Or
The Intermediate Examination in Science of an Indian University / Board or other recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject;
Or
The pre-professional / pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination, or the pre-university or an equivalent examination. The pre-professional / pre-medical examination shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English as a compulsory subject;
Or
The first year of the three years degree course of a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in three subjects provided the examination is a “University Examination” and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course;
Or
B.Sc. examination of an Indian University, provided that he / she has passed the B.Sc. examination with not less than two of the following subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he / she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with the following subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Or
Any other examination which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an Indian University / Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in each of these subjects and English.
Admission Brochure-cum-Application Form shall be available from the office of the Association, participating Institutions, State Admission Committee and Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, on cash payment of Rs. 1,000/-. However, Admission Brochure-cum-Application Form may also be downloaded from the official websites of the Association and participating Institutions. The Application Form shall be submitted in the offices mentioned above, on or before the stipulated date. In case, application form has been downloaded from the website, it must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- drawn in favour of "Association of Haryana State Self Financing Dental Colleges" payable at
List of original documents to be produced by the candidate at the time of counseling.
(1) Matriculation Certificate /High School Certificate / ICSE / ClassX or its equivalent certificate as proof of date of birth.
(2) Mark sheet of the qualifying examination (class XII or its equivalent).

A candidate for admission to the MDS course (Master of Dental Surgery) must have a recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) awarded by an Indian University in respect of recognized Dental College under Section 10(2) of the Dentists Act, 1948 or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India and should have obtained permanent registration with the State Dental Council. Candidates not possessing a recognized Dental qualification for the above purpose should secure the prior approval of his qualifications by the Dental Council of India before he admitted to the MDS Course of any University in
