The list of the eligible colleges along with their details, regarding number of seats, fee structure, etc will be displayed before the candidate will be filling/locking of choices before counselling.

Rules & Regulation

1.     Admission to B. Sc Nursing Course in the Nursing Colleges, which are affiliated to the University will be made on the basis of entrance examination scheduled to be held on 4th week of October/ 1st week of November 2021.

The selection of the candidates will be strictly based on the merit of the entrance examination and preference of the college given by the candidate.

2.     Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2021. The maximum age limit for admission is 35 years for Unreserved (UR), OBC, EWS, SC and ST, however the maximum Age for candidates with Physical Disability (PH) will be 40 years.

3.     Minimum qualifications for admission are as per latest INC regulation.

a)    Candidates with Science who have passed qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board.

b)    Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central government having Science subjects and English only.

c)     English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in B.Sc. Nursing.

d)    5% of total marks in core subjects (PCB) in (10+2) is relaxed for SC/ST candidates. It should be 40% instead of 45% as stated above.

e)    Color blind candidates are eligible provided that color corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.

f)     The selection of candidate will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board appointed by the University. The decision of the Medical Board shall be final.

4.     Reservation as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy and within the sanctioned number of seats by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and not above it.

Application Fee

For Unreserved (UR)/OBC: Rs. 2000/-

For SC/ST: Rs. 1200/-

·          Application shall be submitted online only, No application form shall be received by post.

·          Online application can be submitted on website.

·          Admission to B.Sc. Nursing will be done on the basis of the Online Entrance Examination.

·          Examination will be on MCQ basis in English language only.

·          At the time of admission, original certificate will be verified. If any discrepancy is found, admission will be cancelled.

·          Registered Login credentials (Email/Mobile) will be used for all communications and will be required for obtaining the Admit card, Result, Counselling details, Allotment Letter, etc.

1.     Kindly read the Brochure carefully before Registration.

2.     Credit card /Debit card (Master/Visa card only) or Net banking or UPI/BHIM details for making online payment.

3.     The following information is required

a)    High school marks percentage of all subjects.

b)    Intermediate 12th (10+2) marks percentage of Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

c)     Passport size  colour photograph soft copy [format (.jpg) should be between (20-200 KB size)]

d)    Signature soft copy [format (.jpg) should be between (20-200 KB size)]

e)    Sample Sheet soft copy as per sample[format (.jpg) should be between (200-500 KB size)]

4.     After Final Submit take a print of the Application Form.

•      The candidate should have undergone B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an Institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

•      The Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

•      The candidate should have passed the B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% aggregate marks for Unreserved (UR) & OBC candidates and minimum 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates.

•      Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing course.

•      Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course.

•      The selection of candidate will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board. The decision of the medical board shall be final.

For SC/ST: Rs. 2500/-

1.     Admission to Post Basic B. Sc Nursing Course in the Nursing Colleges, which are affiliated to the University, will be made on the basis of entrance examination scheduled to be held in November 2021.

2.     Minimum qualifications for admission are as per latest INC regulation.

a)    Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate (12th Standard examination) or (10+2) or an equivalent exam recognized by the University for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986 will be eligible for admission.

b)    The candidate should have passed and obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

c)     English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

d)    Should be registered as Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife (R.N.R.M.) with the State Nurses Registration Council.

e)    A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas: (O.T. Techniques, Ophthalmic Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, TB Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Cancer Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing)
