Selection Process:

After the BLDE UGET 2017 has been conducted a selection panel comes up with a merit list based on the marks secured by the candidates in BLDE UGET 2017, the merit list is published on the official website of the conducting authority and candidates are called upon for seat allocation and counseling.

Exam Pattern:

BLDE UGET 2017 will be a 3 hour exam consisting of 180 questions with each question carrying 1 mark. 60 questions each will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology There will be no Negative marking for a wrong response.

Exam Syllabus:

BLDE UGET 2017 will be based on the standard 1st and 2nd PUC syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The candidate will be required to first logon to the official website and fill in the online application form.

After filling up the form the candidate will be required to take the printout of the application form, paste a recent passport size photograph, sign in the space provided, get the application form attested by a Gazetted officer and send it to the BLDE University along with the DD for payment of Application Fee

The candidate also has to send two additional Passport size photographs and attested photocopies of the following:

10th Standard Certificate

12th Standard Certificate

Caste Certificate (In case candidate belongs to a reserved category)

The candidate can send the aforementioned either in Person, Post or Courier to the University.

2.      Photographs should be of passport size, sharp and clear.

3.      Candidate, who regularly wears spectacles, shall send his photograph wearing spectacle.

4.      Person should not wear Goggle, Cap etc which will mask identity. Application with smudged / tampered or hazy photograph will be rejected

5.      Photograph should not be stapled or pinned on the application form.

6.      Signature and attestation is not required on the photograph.

e.       Incomplete / incorrect applications are liable to be rejected without any notice to the candidate.

f.        Any application received after the last date shall not be accepted; whatever may be the cause.

g.       The application form is said to be complete only if it is enclosed with all the documents mentioned below and after verification of the same submitted in person / speed post / courier. ·         The candidates seeking admission to these courses should have passed MBBS from the college recogiized by Medical Council of India

·         As specified by Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be:

·         General category 50 percent

·         SC/ ST & OBC (OBC as declared by Government of Kamataka from time to time) Category 40 percent

·         Candidates with 40 to 70% locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority category 45 percent

·         The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship

·         Foreigi / HO / NRI students are exempted from BLDEU-PGET-2015. Their admission will be based on qualifying examination marks.

Hard copy of the generated application form along with relevant enclosures should be sent to the University.

1.      The Ph.D., degree shall be awarded by this University under any one of the recognized faculties of this University.

2.      A recognized qualifying higher specialty degree, postgraduate degree/diploma is essential with a minimum of 50% of marks in the qualifying examination or a second class or equivalent in the qualifying postgraduate degree/diploma. The qualifying degree has to be registered with the respective Councils as the case may be.

3.      Candidates with the following qualifications are eligible for registering for the Ph.D., degree.

              Medical Higher Specialties: D.M. Doctor of medicine, and M.Ch.,-Master of Chirurgiae in different Branches / Specialties

·         Masters degree in Medicine/Surgery : M.D. – Doctor of Medicine, and M.S. Master of Surgery in different Branches / Specialities.

·         M.B.B.S. Degree : MBBS + Three years of Teaching / Clinical /Laboratory Experience.

·         Bio Medical Sciences: M.Sc., (Medical / Non-Medical) – Anatomy,Physiology, Microbiology Biochemistry, Epidemiology,etc.

M.Sc.-Bioechnology, M.Sc.-Biostatistics, M.Sc.-Nutrition & Dietetics.
