The group started expanding into the education sector with the launch of TimesPro - which focuses on short-term courses that enhance employability. It then launched Bennett University, a state private university in Uttar Pradesh with the aim of providing Ivy League quality of education to undergraduate and postgraduate students making them, ‘life and career ready’. Bennett University located at Greater Noida, commenced its operations on 08 Aug 2016. The University fosters a proactive environment of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, while enhancing skills in all areas of higher education through the internationally acclaimed Centers of Excellence such as Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) and Centre of Executive Education (CEE).
Criteria of minimum Educational Qualification.
· Candidates must be appearing / passed a 3 years UG Degree or equivalent examination in any discipline from a recognized University.
· Candidates who are offered provisional admission based on declared scores in the application, will be required to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination during document inspection at the time of registration failing which, such provisional admission will stand withdrawn.
Eligibility conditions to be eligible for admission under NRI/International Category:
· NRI/PIO/OCI:
· PIO (Person of Indian Origin). A person who or whose ancestors were Indian nationals and who is presently holding another country’s citizenship/ nationality i.e. he/she is holding foreign passport.
· OCI (Overseas Citizen of India). A person registered as “Overseas Citizen of India” (OCI) cardholder under section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955.
· NRI shall be a student, whose mother or father, first degree relation including the real brother and sister or grandparents both paternal and maternal are NRIs.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit of Graduation score.

The students may fill the application forms online using net banking/credit/debit card at https://applications.bennett.edu.in.
There is no separate on-line application form for the NRI/International students. However, students shall be provided an option to be considered under NRI category and which shall then lead to downloading of a sponsorship letter, which must be filled and sent to the University, to enable application being considered.
Cost of Form: Rs 1000/- (can be paid online or through Demand Draft)

Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a statutory university with at least 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates graduating in 2018, can also apply but must prove their eligibility. Further, they must ensure that their last paper of final year’s graduation examination finishes. Those not producing the eligibility certificates as per the date mentioned will be disqualified/de-registered irrespective of them having joined the program provisionally.
Applicants seeking admission are required to have qualified in CAT/GMAT/XAT/GRE with validity up to July 2018 and beyond
Shortlisting / Selection Process:
Following factors would generally be considered for shortlisting and inviting candidates for the personal Interview (PI):
Score/percentile in CAT/GMAT/XAT/GRE
Consistency and strong past academic record
Score/pe Relevant work experience (if any) that brings value to the classroom learning
Extra-curricular achievements reflecting leadership qualities, contribution to society and a well-rounded personality.
Only candidates short-listed on the basis of relative merit amongst received applications will be called for a PI, which may be held in Greater Noida/Delhi/Chandigarh/Lucknow/Patna/Jaipur /Mumbai/Bengaluru/

Min 5 Subjects in 10+2 or its equivalent exam (equivalence as defined by JEE Board). Candidates with 4 subjects in 10+2 class are not eligible
Candidate must obtain minimum of 60% aggregate marks in three subjects to include Physics, and Mathematics (Compulsory) and one subject amongst Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Informatics Practices and Multimedia and Web Technology. The marks shall be verified at the time of document inspection
Minimum academic qualification for admission to any one of the programs is as laid down by JEE (Board). The 10+2 or its equivalent Exam must be passed in 2016, 2017 or 2018. All candidates who are offered provisional admission during counselling will be required to produce proof of having passed the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) to the University authorities during document inspection at the time of registration, failing which, such provisional admission will stand cancelled. If the results of 10+2 examinations are likely to be declared after 15th July 2018 the candidates are advised to seek admission next year
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01st Oct 1996 (Date of Birth as recorded in the High School/Sr. Education Board/University Certificate only will be taken as authentic) are only eligible to apply
Shortlisting / Selection Process:
The merit, amongst applications received for admission, shall be drawn based on the actual marks obtained by the candidate in the JEE (Main) 2018 paper 1 Exam. JEE marks in any category or state including general etc. shall not be taken into account
The merit list for SC/ST candidates and those belonging to the state of J&K shall be made by applying the cut off 10% below the total marks {in JEE (main) exam} obtained by the candidate short listed in the general category
Submission of application does not automatically qualify the candidate for participating in further selection and no refund of application fee is permissible on any account
