a) Candidates admitted in M.Tech. programs with valid GATE 2019 / GATE 2020 / GATE 2021 score will be considered to receive scholarships only if approved and amount released by the funding agency.
b) In addition to the above, upto 20 % of tuition fee waiver may be awarded to GATE qualified candidates having GATE score better than 90 percentiles.
Selection Procedures:
· GATE Qualified Candidates: Based on GATE scores and Academic Performance (80% weightage to GATE and 20% weightage to Academic Performance).
· Non-GATE Candidates: Based on Interview and Academic Performance (20% weightage to Interview and 80% weightage to Academic Performance).

CANDIDATES MUST SATISFY THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1. Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October 1996 are eligible for admission. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates who were born on or after 1st October 1991 are eligible for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board (Class X, High School) certificate only will be taken as authentic.
2. Candidate must have passed in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII), or its equivalent, referred to as the qualifying examination.
3. Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for B.Arch. Program shall be as under:

1) Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India / AIU. This degree must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling [Class 12 or equivalent] (10+2+3 system).
2) Candidates must have minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Honours / aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in graduation. [The percentage of marks obtained by a candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the University / Institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree]
3) Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor’s program in 2021 can also apply, provided they have obtained requisite marks or equivalent (as per item 2 above) based on latest available grades / marks at the time of applying, and if selected can join the program provisionally.
At the time of reporting for the ‘Personal Interview’ such applicant must bring a certificate in original from the Principal of Institute stating that:
a) He/she will have appeared for examination in all subjects required for obtaining his/her Bachelor’s degree.
b) He/she has obtained requisite marks or equivalent (as per item (2) above), based on latest available grades / marks.
Selected candidates will be required to sign an undertaking at the time of admission on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 20/- (Refer Annexure -1).
Further, their admission will be confirmed only when they submit the marksheets and a certificate of having passed the Bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification with requisite marks as per item (2) above. They must submit proof of passing their final examinations with requisite marks by 31st December 2021. 4) Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distancelearning program are eligible only if (a) the program are recognized by the DECIGNOU (b) they have passed the qualifying examination at the time of applying, with minimum requisite marks in average calculated as per item (2) above.
