  • About Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University:

    Established by the State Legislature Act 28 of 2014 on July 24, 2014, CSRU has a sprawling campus of 75 acres situated 2 kilometres from Gohana Bypass, Jind. The university was established with the vision of imparting quality education by creating most conducive ambience for the production and dissemination of knowledge guided by innovative thinking, scientific enquiry, sublime human values, sustainable ecology, and democratic ethos. The aim of the University is the cultivation of citizens with a rich awareness of our heritage to lead and serve in every sphere of human activity. Working under the leadership of eminent educationists and social reformers, Hon'ble Chancellor Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki and dedicated, dynamic and devoted personality Vice- Chancellor Prof. R.B. Solanki, the University is heading towards realization of its vision and the goal of being in the world ranking by 2020. The University is affiliated u/s 2(f) and 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956 vide letter no. 9-12/2014(CPP-I/PU) dated 26 September, 2014 and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities. In a short span of four years, the university has many achievements to its credit. The First Convocation of the University was held on April 18, 2017. Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor of Haryana was the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation Address. Ch. Birender Singh, Steel Minister, Government of India, Sh. Ramesh Kaushik, Member of Parliament, Smt. Prem Lata, MLA and Sh. Jasbir Deswal, MLA were also graced the convocation as Guests of Honour. The university gave 14 Gold Medals, 13 M.Phil, 289 Post Graduates and 289 Under Graduates Degrees were awarded during the Convocation. In addition to the academics the students are also encouraged to participate in sports events and extracurricular activities at the campus as well as outside the campus the enable their wholesome personality development.

    Eligibility:

    The admission for the Degree of M.Ed. Program shall be open to candidates having at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in any of the following programs:

    ·          B.Ed.

    ·          D.El.Ed with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each)

    Admission Procedure

    The Admission to M.Ed. Courses for the session 2020-21 will be made on the basis of inter-se merit of percentage of the Qualifying Examination through online counseling by C.R.S.U. Jind. Merit for admission to M.Ed. Course shall be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the Qualifying examination. However, if two or more candidates have obtained Equal marks.

    ·          The candidate has to register by submitting personal data/requisite information correctly in the online application form. On submitting this data/ information user Id and password will be generated/ created for use in future logins by the candidate.

    ·          Candidates must take a print-out of their online application form along with their locked choices. This print-out has to be signed and submitted at the time of reporting for admission.

    Eligibility:

    ·          The admission for the degree of M.Ed. Spl.Ed. degree shall be open to:


    ·          A candidate who has successfully passed B.Ed Spl. Ed. with a minimum 50% marks in the respective disability area from a recognized University or any other degree considered equivalent to B.Ed.Spl.Ed. from an affiliating University and/or teaching department under any University recognized by U.G.C. with RCI registration/recognition.


    ·          A candidate who has successfully passed the B.Ed. General Course and has successfully completed Diploma in Education (Special Education) in respective disability are recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with minimum 50 percent marks in each course.


    ·          A candidate who has successfully passed the B.Ed. General course and has successfully completed Post Graduate Professional Diploma (PGPD) in Special Education concerning disability.


    ·          A candidate with B.Ed.Spl.Ed. in particular specialization may be allowed for M.Ed.Spl.Ed. cross disability/multicategory (as and when offered) but the reverse is not allowed. B.Ed.Spl.Ed. with multicategory should not be admitted for specialization in a single disability at the B.Ed.Spl.Ed. level, however, these can be admitted to B.Ed.Spl.Edu. Area C Courses and complete the Specialization Courses to qualify for a particular disability. On completion of Area C, these can be admitted to the M.Ed.Spl.Ed. in a specific disability.


    ·          A student with B.A/B.Sc./B.Com.B.Ed.Spl.Ed (4 years Integrated course in the concerned area of disability).


    ·          The candidate should have valid RCI registration.

    Bachelor's degree with participation in International competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter University competition in sports and games as recognized by the respective federation/AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.

    Graduation with 45% marks (42.75% marks for SC candidates) and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teacher/coaches).

    (ii) The condition of gradation certificate for being eligible to get admission is not required but if a student wants to get weightage of the sports certificate, he should have to produce the gradation certificate issued by the concerned state. In case any State does not issue the Gradation Certificate, the following criteria will be adopted for accepting the Sports Certificate for admission to D.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed, BPES and MPES

    a. In case of District Position holder, a certificate of authenticity from the concerned District Association/Federation duly countersigned by the District Sports Officer will be accepted.

    b. In case of State Position holder, National Participation, National Position holder & International level a certificate of Authenticity from the concerned State Association/Federation duty countersigned by the Director of Sports of the State will be accepted.

    c. In case of Inter Collegiate and All India Inter-Varsity position holders the certificate will be verified from the Director of Sports of the concerned universities.

    Note: Certificates of sports and games organized by the Nehru Yuvak Kendra, Women Sports Festivals, Rural Games and Sports Festivals, Panchayats, and Invitation Tournaments will not be considered.

    (iii) Physical Efficiency Test: All the eligible candidates will be required to qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). However, the criteria, specifications and important Notes of the individual events as at AnnexureXIV.

    Note:

    a) Married female selected candidates will have to submit a certificate from SMO/MO of the Civil Hospital that she is not in family way, along with an undertaking that if during the course of study, it is found that she is in family way, her admission would be liable to be cancelled IPSO-FACTO and all dues paid by her shall be forfeited.

    b) Every student (Male and Female) will submit medical fitness certificate from SMO/MO/MBBS at the time of admission. No excuse for physical activity during the course will be entertained.

    c) 30% seats in each category will be reserved for female candidates for B.P.Ed. course.
