PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION: Chettinad School of Architecture offers Bachelor of Architecture -B.Arch., 5 years degree program. The school offers the intellectual challenges of both arts and sciences in combination with the opportunity for creative design. The innovative design program – delivered by faculty working at the cutting edge of contemporary architecture – is balanced with outstanding teaching in the history and philosophy of architecture, contemporary culture and urbanism, as well as construction, structural design and environmental design.

Procedure for Submission of Application

All applicants are advised to go through the Prospectus thoroughly before filling up the application form.

•      Candidate must apply in the prescribed application form downloaded from the website and filled up application can be submitted along with the  requisite fees and self attested true copies of the documents/testimonials.

•      The application form must be filled up by the candidate in his/her own handwriting and signed at the appropriate column.

•      Incomplete Application will be summarily rejected.

(i)            H.S.C. or equivalent examination marksheet issued by Board of Secondary Education or equivalent Board.

(ii)           The 10th mark sheet.

(iii)          The conduct / character certificate issued by the Head of the Institution last studied.

(iv)          Community certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

(v)           Transfer certificate

(vi)          Migration Certificate (if applicable).

(vii)         Certificate of extracurricular activities.

(viii)        Aadhar card

(ix)          Medical fitness Certificate (Original).

(x)           DD in favour of “CHETTINAD ACADEMY OF RESEARCH & EDUCATION” payable at Chennai for Rs. 1000/- towards the cost of application which is non-refundable.

(xi)          For NRI / Foreign Nationals only: Passport / VISA / Resident VISA, if applicable. Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian universities. Passport of the parent / sponsor. Overseas Employment Certificate issued by the Employer for the parent / sponsor, attested by the Embassy and if self employed, it should also be attested by the Embassy. Resident certificate of candidate's parents / sponsor issued by the Embassy of the country. A self affidavit of the relationship between sponsor and the candidate (Sponsorship Certificate).

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought Minimum education:
- 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core / English Elective with aggregate of 45%   marks from recognized board under AISSE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
- Students shall be medically fit
- Students appearing in 10+2 examinations in Science conducted by National Institute of Open   School with 45% marks.
- Students shall be admitted once in a year.
- 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ ST candidates.
