In order to undertake the frontier level research in the field of medical science, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research has been established in the University. There are at present 14 collaborative faculty members and 20 full time research scholars working under difference projects sanctioned by DST, DRDO, CSIR,

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
· The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates taking into consideration the preference given by them and availability of seat in the branch/discipline of his/her choice when it is his/her turn for counselling.
· Tie Breaker- In case of equal marks at AIPGMET 2017 inter-se-merit of the candidates will be determined by applying following tie breaker rules :
· First Level: A Candidate securing higher percentage of marks in the aggregate of marks at the First, Second and Third M.B.B.S. (Part I & II) Examinations taken together will be preferred. If the tie still persists, then:
· Second Level: A candidate securing higher percentage of marks in the Third M.B.B.S. (Part I & II) Examination will be preferred. If the tie still persists, then
