  • About DR BR Sur Homoeopathic Medical College:

    Dr. B. R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre is an old homoeopathic institution established in November 1985 by Dr. B. R. Sur, who was a great philanthropist and a leading Homoeopath of Delhi. The hospital started functioning in the year 1986 with its diagnostic facilities like X-Ray, Ultrasound, ECG, Pathology Laboratory and Operation Theatre facilities, though it was formally inaugurated by Shri Jagpravesh Chander as a full fledged 40 bedded hospital in 1987.  Dr. B. R. Sur donated the institution to the Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi on 2nd October 1998. Indoor Patient Department was started on 12th September 2000 by Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dixit under the chairmanship of Dr. A. K. Walia, then Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi in the presence of Dr. K. K. Aggarwal, Vice Chancellor, and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Read more….

    Eligibility:

    Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system conducted by the recognized Board / University with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate in these subjects from the recognized schools situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi only, will be eligible. A candidate also must have passed in English as a subject of study (core, elective or functional) in the qualifying examination.

     

    Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Widows of Defence Personnel / Physically handicapped will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement, irrespective of the fact whether there exists any reservation for any category of such candidates or not.

     

    Nationality: Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Non-resident Indians (NRIs) are not eligible.

     

    Age: He / She have attained or will attain the age of seventeen (17) years as on 31st December 2008. The candidates attaining seventeen years on 1st January 2009 or later will not be eligible.

    Sale of prospectus by Post against Indian Postal Order of Rs.100/ The Postal orders should be in favour of the “Principal, Dr. B. R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital”, payable at New Delhi. But such request will be considered only if it is accompanied by a self-addressed envelope, size of 12”x10” with affixed postal stamps with Rs.50/=.
