The Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in the 12th board examination from a recognised board and must also have passed mathematics as a subject in the 12th board examination. Those appearing in the examination may also apply, provided that they submit the proof of eligibility by a specific date declared by the university.

Educational Qualification Graduation or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (10% relaxation in marks will be given to SC/ST/PwD).

The student should hold a degree from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

In case CGPA conversion formula has not been provided by the concerned Institute/ University then equivalent percentage will be computed as per the DTU norms. The formula given below will be used to convert CGPA into the equivalent percentage of marks.

Percentage of Marks = (CGPA x 10)

(For CGPA on the scale of ‘10’)

Experience

·          Minimum 3 years of work experience after four years degree (B.E., B.Tech., B.Arch. etc.) .

·          Minimum 4 years of work experience after three years degree (B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, BCA, etc.).

Note:

1.     Working Executives are required to produce a 'No Objection Certificate' at the time of joining the programme.

2.     The last date of application shall be treated as the cut-off date in determining the experience of the candidate.

Application Process:

For admission to MBA (E), all candidates need to register and fill the application ONLINE only. Online Application form can be accessed at www.dtu.ac.in

The Application process is completed only when a print out of the filled ONLINE application form is taken after paying the online registration fee. the candidate must bring a duly signed copy of the same along with two good quality photo (Same as uploaded on online application form) affixed in the appropriate place on the form at the time of Physical verification of the documents.

Candidates are required to upload the scanned copy of the following documents at the time of filling up of Online Application form:

1.     Degree and Marks sheet of the qualifying examination.

2.     Date of Birth certificate as indicated in high school or equivalent examination i.e. Class X.

3.     Work experience certificates

4.     Reserved category/sub-category certificates, if applicable.

5.     Undertaking (if Required)

Note: The above documents in Original should also be produced at the time of physical verification, if the candidate fails to produce any required documents, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.

Candidates are requested to ensure that they must fulfill all such requirements before filling and applying for the program. Incomplete application, due to any reason, is liable for rejection by the university. In this regard no communication will be entertained.

Application fee

The registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for Gen/OBC/EWS Category and Rs. 500/- for Sc/ST/PwD, can be paid online through credit/debit card/net banking. The registration shall not be complete without the payment of registration fee which is non-refundable and would not be adjusted towards any other fee. a convenience charge (online transaction) will be extra as per banking gateway on every online registration fee payment.

Note: *The decision of the honourable vice Chancellor in all matters of admission will be final.

*The Jurisdiction of a dispute will be limited to NCT of Delhi.

Candidates appearing in the final semester/year should have at least 60% aggregate marks in the final (overall) result.

In case the conversion formula for CGPA is not provided by the concerned Institute/ University, the equivalent percentage shall be computed as per the following formula:

CGPA x 10 = Percentage of Marks

Note: At any stage of the programme, if it is found that the candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria, his/ her admission shall be cancelled and the fee shall not be refunded.

For SC/ST/PWD candidates application fee is Rs. 750/- incomplete application, due to any reason, is liable for rejection by the university.

Educational Qualifications and Eligibility Condition for Admissions

The details of the essential qualifications required for different M. Tech. programmes in each programme is given in Annexure-1. Candidates who possess the minimum educational qualifications are eligible to seek admission to these M. Tech programmes. In addition, candidates of General category must have secured at least 60% marks in qualifying degree or equivalent CGPA provided by the concerned Institute/ University. In case CGPA or conversion formula has not been provided by the concerned Institute/ University. then equivalent CGPA will be computed as per the following:

Percentage of Marks = 10 X CGPA

Relaxation in minimum percentage requirement will be granted to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/ OBC categories as given in Table 2. The aggregate marks awarded for the qualifying degree will be considered for eligibility.

Full Time Candidates

a.     Admission to M. Tech programmes leading to M. Tech degree as given in Table-1, will be open to the candidates qualified In GATE on the basis of valid GATE score only in the subjects as given in Annexure Ito prepare the merit list for programmes of a department.

b.     Final year students who will be completing all the requirements of their qualifying examination including back paper(s)/ supplementary(ies) before the date of admission may also apply. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate as per the Performa given in Annexure-4 along with the application form. Such candidates may be admitted provisionally but they will be required to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying degree with the required percentage of marks or CGPA latest by October 31, 2022, failing which their admission shall be cancelled.

c.     #Candidates having AMIE/AMIS/ AMIICHE/AMIIM/Grad IETE, who possess B.Sc. or Diploma in engineering are also eligible to apply for admission to M. Tech. courses.

d.     Detailed seat matrix indicating seats in various departments under different categories is available at Annexure-2.

Full-Time Sponsored Candidates

05 seats (supernumerary) each are available in all the 25 M. Tech. programmes offered by the University subject to the provisions given below:

a.     Faculty or Scientists from Educational Institutions, R&D organizations, and Government Department / Public Sector Undertaking / Candidates from industry of high repute and a medium sized enterprise with turnover Rs. 75 crores or above along with standing commitment to the exemplary standards namely ISO/CMM level 3 or similar standard of respective area are eligible for admission to these programmes. All candidates should have a minimum experience of one year as on 31u July, 2022 for admission in August 2022. Minimum qualifications for these candidates is the same as for full time candidates except that the requirement of qualifying in GATE examination is waived oft The selected candidates need to submit the minimum one-year completion employment certificate on 01.09.2022: failing which their admission will be cancelled.

b.     Sponsored (full-time) candidate seeking admission to a M. Tech. programme on the basis of study leave, must submit a "Sponsorship certificate" as per Annexure-9 on a proper letter head from the appropriate authority in the organization clearly stating the following:

1.     For the period of his/her studies in the programme, the candidate would be treated as on duty with usual salary and allowances, and

2.     That he/she will be fully relieved and granted study leave for a minimum period of 02 years.

c.     A few candidates are also admitted through Defence Research & Development Organization Schemes, for which the admission procedure is separate. The candidates who meet the above mentioned eligibility conditions, along with the minimum educational qualifications as given in Annexure-1 should contact DRDO authorities for sponsorship.

d.     Admission to the Sponsored Full-Time M. Tech programmes (except for DRDO sponsored candidates) will be made on the basis of merit by the respective department from amongst the candidates who have registered online. These candidates in merit list must have fulfilled all the eligibility criteria as specified for that programme.

Part-Time Candidates (Three years' duration)

University also offers Part time programme in all the 25 M. Tech. programmes of Engineering and Technology listed in above Table. The number of part time seats are 12-13 in each course subject to the provisions given below. The detailed seat matrix indicating seats in various departments under different categories is available at Annexure-3.

a.     These candidates must satisfy condition 2.2 (a) as for full time sponsored candidates, with the additional requirement that such organizations must be located within the NCR region.

b.     Admission to the Part-Time M. Tech. programmes will be made on the basis of merit by the respective department from amongst the candidates who have registered online. These candidates in merit list must have fulfilled all the eligibility criteria as specified for that programme.

c.     The part-time students will be required to attend all lectures, tutorials and practical classes for the courses prescribed for them and must satisfy the attendance requirements. The classes for part-time students will be held along with regular students.

d.     The status of a part-time student will not be changed from part-time to full-time student.

e.     Part-time candidates are required to submit a "No Objection Certification" as per Annexure-10 on a letter head from the appropriate authority in the organization clearly stating the following:

·          The candidate is permitted to pursue studies on a part-time basis.

·          That his/her official duties permit him/her to devote sufficient time for studies.

·          That he/she will not be transferred to any other place during the period of study.

Application Process

For admission to M. Tech programmes 2022. all candidates need to register and fill the application ONLINE only by accessing www.dtu.ac.in from May 20, 2022 to June 17, 2022. The application process is completed only when a print out of the filled ONLINE application form is taken after paying online the registration fee. The candidate must bring a duly signed copy of the same along with two good quality photo (same as uploaded on online application form) affixed in the appropriate place on the form on the day of counselling. Candidates, whose final year result is awaited, may also fill the online application form. Once the candidate has registered and paid the registration fees, he/she would be sent a separate link to upload their graduation marks by August 31, 2022. Candidates are requested to ensure that they must fulfil all such requirements before filling and applying for such programmes as their choices. Incomplete application due to any reason is liable for rejection by the University. In this regard, no communication will be entertained

Application Fee

The registration fee of Rs.1500/- for all categories is to be paid online through credit/debit card Met banking at the time of registration and choice filling. The registration shall not be complete without the payment of registration fee which is non-refundable and would not be adjusted towards any other fee. A convenience charge (online transaction) will be extra as per banking gateway on every online registration fee payment. If a candidate wishes to apply for admission in a programme offered by different departments then he/she will have to register separately in that department by paying a separate online registration fee.

To resolve and determine inter-se merit of candidates having same percentage in the best of four subjects (Encluding English), following criterion will be used in the stated order of preference:

The candidate seeking admission in B. Tech. Programme under Continuing Education shall possess the essential qualification as follows.

I.             Three-year regular Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering awarded by any state board of technical education/Diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi.

II.            The candidate should be a working professional with full-Time employment in any reputed organization registered under company act or having valid TIN/GST Number and located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and contiguous industrial areas within the radius of 50 Km distance from DTU i.e. Bahadurgarh. In addition, candidates of General category must have secured at least 60% marks in qualifying Diploma or equivalent CGPA provided by the concerned Institute/ University. In case of CGPA, if conversion formula has not been provided by the concerned Institute/University then equivalent percentage of Marks will be computed as per following formula:

The Candidates seeking admission in B. Tech. Programme under Continuing Education need to submit completed application form along with required documents as mentioned above to the Co-Chairman (Admission), B. Tech. under Continuing Education-2021, B.Tech. (Evening) Office, 1st Floor, FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department, Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering), Main Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 on or before 6.00 PM. of 05-08-2021, Incomplete information may lead to cancellation of candidature. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. The candidates must ensure that the University receives the application on or before the last date. Qualifying Degree:

3.     The applicants are suggested to go through the admission brochure and all important instructions before filling the application form.

4.     The candidate should first register using a valid email id and password, and then login for filling the online application form. Please note that an ‘Application number’ will be generated while filling up the Online Registration form. This Application number will be used for all future correspondence. For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to login directly with his/her registered email id and chosen password.

5.     The candidate must have his/her personal mobile no. and valid email id. The candidates are advised to retain the same mobile number and email id in use which they have furnished in the application form as important information may be communicated to the candidates through SMS or email id.

Qualifying Examination

The qualifying examination for admission to all the participating Universities / Institute will be any of the following examination:

(i) Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

(ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

(iii) Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE

Note: Candidates who have appeared at the Annual Examination in the year 2019 and have been placed in compartment will not be eligible for admission for the year 2019

Minimum Marks Criterion in Qualifying Examination

B.Tech. Course at NSUT, IGDTUW and DTU

A candidate securing 60% or more marks in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and has passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) AND having JEE Main 2019 Rank (Paper I) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of B. Tech. /B.E., course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.

Online Registration procedure

Submission of Registration-cum-Counseling Fee

All candidates desirous of seeking admission to the engineering / architecture programs at DTU, IGDTUW, IIIT-D and NSUT are required to visit website www.jacdelhi.nic.in to pay a non-refundable registration-cum-counseling fee of Rs.1500/- ( plus transactions charges as applicable)

NOTE: ONLINE REGISTRATION IS ALLOWED AS PER COUNSELING SCHEDULE ONLY.

The candidate will initiate the fee submission for online registration process by entering his/her following details:

·          JEE (Main) 2019 Application Number

·          Name (as per JEE Admit card)

If amount gets deducted from the candidate's bank I card, account but the candidate is not able to register, it indicates that transaction has failed. Such failed transactions are refunded to the same bank 7 card account automatically by the payment system within 7 working days.

ln such cases, the fee should be paid again for registration without waiting for the refund. The candidate may inform JAC Delhi by sending an email to support@jacdelhi.nic.in, providing the candidate’s details (JEE Mains Application Number, Name, Mobile Number, Date and Time of Transaction).

Please Note:

i) After successful fee payment, candidates are required to visit the website www.jacdelhi.nic.in again and fill online registration form.

ii) After successful fee payment, if a candidate does not fill the ONLINE registration form, he/she will not be considered for any seat allotment in any round of the counseling. (No refund of registration-cum-counseling fee for such candidates will be applicable)

iii) No other mode of payment will be accepted for submission of registration-cum-counseling fee.

Last Date and Time for Fee payment: 17^th June, 2019 till 05:00 PM
Last Date and Time for Online Registration (Filling of Registration and Choices only): 18^th June, 2019 till 11:59 PM

Delhi Region Candidates: A candidate passing the qualifying examination (Diploma) from a recognized College / Institute / University located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.

Outside Delhi Region Candidates: A candidate passing the qualifying examination (Diploma) from a recognized College / Institute / University located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.

Educational Qualifications

Three-year regular Diploma in any branch of Engineering awarded by any State Board of Technical Education / Diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

·          In the case of the grade awarded in terms of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), the percentage will be calculated by multiplying CGPA with the conversion formula provided by the concerned instructions. If the concerned institution does not have its own conversion formula, then the equivalent percentage (%) will be calculated as per the formula given below.

Admission Process For B. Tech. Programme (Lateral Entry) 2019, all candidates need to register and fill the application ONLINE only by the accessing college website from May 10, 2019 to June 03, 2019 (mid night). The instructions for filling the ONLINE application form are available at the DTU website. The application process is completed only when a printout of the filled ONLINE application form is taken after paying the online registration fee. At the times of admission, the followings documents are to be submitted:

a.     A duly signed printout of the filled application form (same as submitted ONLINE) along with two good quality photographs (same as uploaded on the online application form) affixed in the appropriate place on the form.

b.     Attested copies of all mark sheets and certificate of qualifying examination (Diploma). If a candidate is/has appearing/appeared in the final year examination of diploma, then he/she needs to produce a certificate as per the Annexure-1 given in the brochure.

c.     Attested copies of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/ PwD Certificate(s) whichever applicable, on the basis of which reservation is claimed. OBC-NCL candidates must produce the necessary financial documents to support their category as per Annexure-2 given in the brochure.

Candidates are requested to ensure that they must fulfil all such requirements before filling and applying. Incomplete application, due to any reason, is liable for rejection by the University. In this regard, no communication will be entertained.

Application Fee The registration fee of 1000/- for Gen / OBC-NCL and 500/- for SC/ ST/ PwD, is to be paid online through credit/debit card / net-banking at the time of registration and choice filling. The registration shall not be complete without the payment of registration fee which is non-refundable and would not be adjusted towards any other fee. A convenience charge (online transaction) will be extra as per banking gateway on every online registration fee payment.

Admit Card Available online: 8^th June, 2019
Date of Common Entrance Examination (CEE): 16^th June, 2019
