About Dr B R Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research:
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research (ACBR) is dedicated to research and postgraduate education in Biomedical Sciences. Founded in March 1991, on the occasion of the birth centenary of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Government of India established an Institute of Biomedical Research at the University of Delhi under the leadership of Prof. Ramesh Chandra, which is rapidly becoming a source of major scientific innovations in the understanding, treatment, and prevention of diseases. The institute also serves as a prototype of postdoctoral training - a scientific centre where young scientists at the start of their research career can gain the skills and insights required in their chosen fields

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences/Life Sciences/ Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Environmental Biology/ Biotechnology/ Laboratory Techniques/B.Pharma/ B.V.Sc or MBBS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Defence category candidates) from University of Delhi or any other examination recognised by the University or equivalent thereto

How to apply:
Application Form: Information bulletin along with application form for all the above courses can be obtained from the office of Dr BR Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi, North Campus, Delhi-110007 on all working days from 15th April, 2017 from 09.30 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. against demand draft of Rs 1000/- (Rs 400/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates)

If required by post, a demand draft of Rs 1050/- (Rs 450/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates) will be necessary and should be sent along with an application on plain paper showing the name and address (with pin code) of the applicant in block letters so as to reach the office of the ACBR on or before 25th April, 2017

Candidates can also download the application form from ACBR website www.acbrdu.edu and send the demand draft along with the completed application form

The demand draft should be made in favour of the Director, Dr BR Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research The last date for sale of bulletin is 01st May, 2017

Master’s Degree in the appropriate field of Science, M.Tech, M.V.Sc, M.Pharma or MD with a minimum of 55% marks or B.Tech, MBBS with 70% and 60% marks or equivalent grades respectively

Interview for admission to Ph.D will be held in July/August, 2017

If required by Post, send a Demand Draft of Rs. 850/- for General and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST.
