Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, EIILM

The minimum qualification for admission to the course is a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 system) in Arts/ Science/Commerce or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Technology/Medical Science/ Professional Course or its equivalent from any University.

Candidate seeking admission to the Course shall have to qualify CAT/MAT/ATMA/EMAT.

Final Selection of the eligible Candidates will be made on the basis of a cumulative score of Academic Achievements, CAT/MAT/ATMA/EMAT Score, Group Discussion, Viva-Voce and Work Experience.

Admission Procedure

Stage - I

Students appearing in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ JMET can apply. Detailed information on this tests can be obtained from the advertisements released in various national dailies or from the respective Institutions/ Organisations. For notification on EMAT one can contact Admissions Department of EIILM.
Stage - II

Every student seeking admission to EIILM must fill up the prescribed application form, attach requisite documents and submit the same to EIILM admission office.

Prospectus and Application form can be obtained in the following ways:

On cash payment of Rs 500 from the Institute campus in Kolkata.

By sending a Demand Draft of Rs 550 drawn in favour of 'Eastern Institute for Integarated Learning in Management' payable at Kolkata to admission office of EIILM.

The completed Application Form can also be submitted to Admissions Department of EIILM along with a Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'Eastern Institute for Integarated Learning in Management' payable at Kolkata.

Stage - III

The dates for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be intimited to short listed candidates through e-mail and a letter. For outstation Candidates GD/PI will be conducted in different cities of Assam, North Eastern Region, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.

Stage - IV

Selected candidates shall be intimated by post. The admission will be final only after the payment of admission fees along with the Security Deposit (as mentioned in the admission offer letter). Fees once paid is not refundable

EIILM awards up to 100% merit and need based scholarships for exceptional students who are financially challenged. Candidates seeking a Scholarship award must go through the selection process. The Admissions Committee awards scholarships at its sole discretion, selecting candidates based on the criteria mentioned below:-

Past academic performance

AT/MAT/ATMA/EMAT score

Group Discussion & Interview performance

Work experience, if any, in terms of job content & organization

Additional weightage is often, but not always given to candidates with 2+ years work experience, previous Masters level education (non-Business), and financial condition of the candidate and his family.

Graduates in any discipline from any University are considered eligible for this course. Candidates in their final year of graduation may also apply.

Having Work Experience is not a requirement for admission to the programme, however candidates with work experience are welcome.

SELECTION PROCESS

Group Discussion/Personal Interview:

Selected candidates, the intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for Group Discussion & Personal Interviews and final admissions are based on multiple factors as follows:

§          Past academic performance

§          CAT/MAT/ATMA/JCCAT/EMAT score

§          Group Discussion & Personal Interview performance

§          Work experience, if any, in terms of job content & organization

Candidates securing less than 40 percentile in MAT should appear for EMAT.

A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be called for interview/group discussion and offered final admission.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Candidates seeking admission to EIILM Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA) need to fill up separate application forms for CAT/MAT/ATMA/EMAT & EIILM.

The admission form should be duly filled out in its entirety and must be accompanied with the following supporting documents:

§          Processing fee of Rs. 550/- in the form of a Demand Draft in favor of "EIILM", payable at Kolkata.

§          Photocopies of all mark sheets (starting with standard-X)

§          Photocopies of CAT/MAT/ATMA/EMAT admit cards

§          Attested copy of your Test Score Card. (if test score card not yet received give details of Test Registration Number, Roll Number, Form Number etc.)

§          Photocopies of Proof of Work Experience, if any

§          Two passport-size photographs

§          Please do not send original certificates
