Minimum qualification for admission to the PGDM (Agri Business) is ICAR/UGC recognized graduation in agriculture and allied subjects such agriculture, agriculture engineering, horticulture, veterinary, fisheries, dairy science, dairy technology, Bio-Technology and Food Technology with a minimum OGPA of 5.00 out of 10.00 or 50% aggregate marks or their equivalents. Those who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of their degree by June 30, 2010 can also apply.

Candidates seeking admission have to apply in the prescribed form. The application can be obtained from FABS or it can be downloaded through Internet from this website

Selection
The selection will be by an admission test and personal interviews. Both can be taken at the Institute on the same day. We will also consider the admission test scores of CAT, MAT, GMAT, MANAGE, and NIRD and exempt such candidates from taking our admission test.
Final selection will be based on the combined scores in the admission test and personal discussion.
Selection (International Students)
Selection for PGDM for International students is a two-stage process:
Stage 1: Valid GMAT score to be attached along with the FABS Application Form.
Stage 2: Candidates shortlisted in Stage1 would have to appear for a personal discussion through tele / video conference.
Fees
The total programme cost for the entire duration of two years is Rs 5,25,000/- and USD 25,000 for Foreign Students. This includes tuition and computer fee, hostel and mess, library membership, laptop, and alumni association membership fee. The fee is payable in three installments – Rs. 25,000/- as admission acceptance fee, Rs. 2,50,000/- each at the beginning of first year (1st term) and at the beginning of second year (4th term).
Loans and Scholarships
For all the needy students, FABS will assist in getting the bank loans. In the addition, FABS will also provide some merit-cum-means scholarships in form of partial fee waiver. These will be based on 1st year’s performance.
International Exposure
Students opting for specialization in international agriculture will be helped to do a course in select countries during the 2nd year.
