- About ICFAI University:
The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Jharkhand popularly known as The ICFAI University, Jharkhand was established under sub-Section (2) of Section 4 of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University Act, 2006 (Jharkhand Act 08, 2007). The University is recognised by UGC under section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 and is empowered by UGC to award degrees under Section 22 of UGC Act, 1956. The University is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

· The University is a Member of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS).

The Visitor of the University is Her Excellency, The Governor of Jharkhand. The University is administered as per the Act, Statutes and Rules. The Board of Governors is headed by the Chancellor and has Vice-Chancellor and others as members. The Board of Management and the Academic Council are headed by the Vice-Chancellor. The Academic Council is responsible for all academic matters.
The University currently offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in management and Bachelor’s programs in Engineering, Commerce, Science & Technology and Diploma Program in Technology (Polytechnic).All programs offered by the University have contemporary curriculum, in-line with the latest developments in science, technology and management and as per the changing requirements of industry.
In order to provide hands-on skills to the students, Internship / Project in industry is mandatory part of all programs.
In line with the University’s commitment to groom competent professionals, with values, a course on Values and Ethics is made an integral part of the curriculum of all of its programs. Besides, in order to develop skills among the students to think & act entrepreneurially, a course on Entrepreneurship is included in all of its programs.

Selection Procedure
The selection of applicants into the Program is made through screening of application and interview. While evaluating students for admission, due weightage is given to their academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra cocurricular activities
Original certificates and Domicile certificate should be produced for verification at the time of payment of first semester fee. The original certificates will be returned after verification
The admission decision will be communicated after the interview process

Students interested can apply by any one of the following methods:
Online Application: Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.iujharkhand.edu.in and make payment of ` 500 towards the cost using Credit / Debit Card (Visa / Master Card/Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway
Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The Prospectus will be sent to such applicants
Download of Application Form: Applicants can fill their details online and download the Application Form from www.iujharkhand.edu.in and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Demand Draft of ` 500 towards the cost of the application in favor of “The ICFAI University, Jharkhand - Fee Collection A/c” payable at Ranchi
