By enrolling a limited number of applicants for each course, our focus will be on an equitable student-faculty ratio, open access to work spaces and tools, and a definite emphasis on interactive and critical thinking.
Candidates must have appeared/passed the CBSE/ISC/IB (or any other equivalent board) 10+2 examination in any discipline. Candidates who have recently appeared for the examination and are awaiting their Results may also apply.
Lateral entry into the 2nd year of the program is possible for students who have successfully completed the first year of their design degree/diploma program from a nationally or internationally recognized Design Institute.
Candidates can apply either through online or offline mode.
Online Applications:
For applying through online mode, applicants are required to submit their applications through the IIAD admissions portal www.applytoiiad.com.
The online application fee payment of Rs.1,000 must be made through credit/debit/net banking facilities of all major banks.
Offline Applications:
The offline applicants can download the application form from here.
The application form and brochure is also available at select outlets at a fee of Rs. 1,000.
If this fee is paid at the time of purchase from any outlet, the fee need not be paid again at the time of application submission.

Selection Procedure for IIAD,
The IIAD follows a two-step evaluation procedure for admission to its courses. Candidates will have to clear the IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) and following that the candidate will have a comprehensive interview and portfolio assessment test.
Candidates those who are applying for Lateral Entry will be exempt from the iDAT and their admissions will be based on portfolio and personal interview.
Last Date of Receipt of Applications: Saturday, April 29, 2017.
Date of iDAT Outstation: Friday, May 05, 2017 and Saturday, May 06, 2017.
iDAT Results Declaration: Friday, May 26, 2017.
Date of Commencement of Session: Monday, July 31, 2017.
