- About Indian Institute of Management:
The Indian Institutes of Management have been the archetype of management schooling in India since their foundation after our independence in 1947. Established in 2015, IIM Bodh Gaya is setup under the mentorship of IIM Calcutta, the oldest IIM in the country. In its initial three years IIM Bodhgaya adopted the methodology of its mentor. Following similar academic rigour providing the standard specialisations such as Finance, Marketing and HR and having professors from IIM Calcutta helping IIM Bodhgaya to form its base. Furthermore, with an able director at the helm, IIM Bodh Gaya moved forward recruiting its own faculty members proficient in research & teaching and laying foundation to its permanent campus. Currently IIM Bodhgaya has become one of the first IIM among new generation of IIMs of being self-sufficient. The current curriculum involves intensive case studies, engrossing field work, role plays and continuous corporate interaction workshops. The program has been conceived to provide world-class management education to meet the requirements of enterprises across sectors by producing highly skilled management professionals. Eligibility:An applicant to the doctoral programme is required to have:
Education: Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60 percent marks or equivalent grade point average, OR Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60 percent marks or equivalent grade point average, OR Five year/four year Integrated Master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 60 percent marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent, OR Four Year/Eight Semester Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./ B. Arch.) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent. Those who are appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply. However, their admission to the programme will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree before 30th June 2021. Candidates who have already passed two-year full-time PGP completed in last 10 years from IIMs with minimum 60 percent marks or equivalent are exempted from the test score and can apply directly. It is necessary that candidates applying for exemption from test must attach copies of both side of the grade sheet to ascertain the equivalence between the grading systems of other IIMs, without which, the application for exemption from test will not be considered.
Age: Candidate must not be more than 40 years as on 1st June 2021.
Reservation: IIM Bodh Gaya will follow strictly the Government of India's Reservation Policy.
Qualifying Exam: CAT (2019/2020) OR GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF (UGC/CSIR) (for the relevant area of specialization, the date of examination must be 1st January 2019 or after and its score/result must be valid on or after 1st January 2021)
Nationality: Admission to the programme is also open to overseas candidates including NRIs and foreign nationals. Candidates will be shortlisted and called for final selection process (Personal Interview & Research Aptitude) based on their performance in qualifying exam, academic background, professional accomplishments, research interest, etc.

The applicants are required to pay online an application fee of Rs. 500/- per area. SC, ST, PwD and women candidates are required to pay online an application fee of Rs. 250/- per area and are required to upload a copy of the relevant document at the time of applying.
Stipend: Rs. 32800-39300 pm, conference travel (Rs. 1.75 L), contingency (Rs. 1 L) & laptop. Fee waiver.
