Eligibility:The following categories of candidates are eligible to enroll into the FPM:
Candidate with a master’s degree in any discipline, (10+2+3+2 pattern), or
Candidate with a professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS etc
Candidate with a 4 year / 8 semester Bachelor’s degree (10+2+4 pattern)
Candidates from non-management background would be required to undergo first year PGDM course at IMT Hyderabad prior to admission in the Fellow Program
Exceptions to this criterion would be decided on a case by case basis by the Admissions Committee
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be called for personal interviews based on academic performance; final selection will be made on the basis of personal interview
Monthly Assistantship and Tuition Fee Waiver
FPM Students in good standing will receive a total support of Rs.25000/- per month as assistantship in addition to tuition waiver, to cover their living expenses, books and materials and other contingency expenses
The program provides four years of support based on satisfactory academic performance; research and teaching assistantships are included as part of a student’s funding from IMT Hyderabad; students are required to do Research/teaching assistance work of 20hrs/week
Academically, a research assistantship serves as an apprenticeship in research that is often the basis for the dissertation research that follows; a teaching assistantship provides experience with the different aspects of the teaching process: course preparation, presentation skills, grading, and evaluation.
