The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare comprises the following departments, each of which is headed by a secretary to the government of

Directorate General of Health Services (Dte.GHS) is attached office of the Department of Health & Family Welfare and has subordinate at offices spread all over the country. The DGHS renders technical advice on all medical and public health matters and is involved in the implementation of various health services.
1. Candidate seeking admission to First Year B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course must have passed the Examination as listed below: Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination/Indian School Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from recognized Board with a minimum of 50% in aggregate or more marks in the aggregate of four subjects including English Core Elective, Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided the student has passed in each subject separately.
2. Minimum age requirement is 17 year. The Vice-Chancellor may, however, on the basis of individual merit relax the age up to a maximum period of one year.
3. Only women candidates are eligible for the course.
4. Working knowledge of Hindi is necessary.
Method of Selection: All candidates will be required to appear for written selection test, (The test will consist of objective type questions in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge).
The Application form can be obtained from College of Nursing, LHMC & associated Hospitals New Delhi by submitting attested copies of 12th Class Mark Sheet & 10th Class Certificate for age proof and on submission of Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque amounting to Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) Payable at new Delhi favouring "The Director, LHMC & Associated Hospitals New Delhi".
