About Lala Lajpat Rai College of Pharmacy (LLRCP):Lala Lajpat Rai college of Pharmacy has been established in the sacred memory of An Ardent Patriot Lala Lajpat Rai Ji (Sher-e-Punjab) - Tireless Crusader against British Imperialism, progressive & radical in the Political Thinking, A great educationist who wanted milk for babies, food for adults, but education for all.
Lala Lajpat Rai college of pharmacy was established in 2004 with two year D. Pharmacy, diploma course to impart job oriented and self-employment (Drug store management , Hospital Pharmacist , Community Pharmacist and Marketing manager) and technical education to the youth. A four year B. Pharmacy, degree course was started in 2006 on self financing and non - profitable basis. The prime objective of this institute is to provide training to youths to maintain a high standard of education & morality among the students and thus prepare them for highly paid jobs. The present managerial and administrative team headed by Sh K. K. Kaura, chairman, Shiva Educational trust, is putting in its earnest efforts to achieve the objectives of the college. The high value being attached to the LLRCP has created its own impact which led to a demand for further expansion i.e Post-graduate courses in Pharmacy.
