Dr MS Ramaiah, a noted entrepreneur and gifted visionary of Karnataka recognized the inadequacy in the public education system as early as in the year 1960. He founded Gokula Education Society and Gokula Education Foundation in the year 1962. A highly industrious person, blessed with a clear and focused approach, he saw to it that a galaxy of educational institutions came into existence in all their excellence, encompassing every field of education by the year 1995. Thus was started M.S.Ramaiah College of Management Science and Commerce for general education under the auspices of Gokula Education Society in the year 1994.
