Eligibility & Procedure For Admission In Nri Management Quota/ Vacant Seats After Counselling Of Upsee 2011
The 15 % seats shall be filled by NRI candidates under Management Quota as per eligibility criteria. The Vacant seats in NRI Management Quota seats/Vacant seats after counseling of UPSEE shall be filled in following preference order :-
1. The qualified candidates of UPSEE 2011. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in UPSEE 2011
2. The qualified candidates of valid CAT (or valid MAT). Their relative merit will be decided their rank in CAT/MAT.
3. By the merit of the candidates in qualifying examination. For this candidate must have passed three years degree course from any recognized University securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. The relative merit shall be decided based on total marks.

Eligibility:Having passed 3 years Diploma Course with minimum 50%marks (45%in respect of SC/ST) in a branch of engineering and technology recognized by Board of Technical Education of U.P.
OR
Having passed B.Sc. with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate and passed 10+2 examination with mathematics as a subject
Such seats are limited to a maximum of 10 % in addition to the sanctioned intake in different courses at first year level.
The vacant seats in B.Tech. course after UPSEE 2011 counseling for lateral entry (second year) shall be filled at institute level, strictly on the basis of merit of the eligible candidates who have minimum qualification required to appear in UPSEE 2011 for direct admission in second year.

Eligibility:a) 65% of total seats-to be filled through UPSEE 2011 counseling, based on UPSEE 2011 merit. Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parent are domicile of U.P. subject to the eligibility conditions given in this Information Brochure. If the candidate has passed. qualifying examination from outside of U.P., he/ she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father or Mother only) before the starting date of document verification.
b) 20% of total seats-to be filled through UPSEE 2011 counseling based AIEEE 2011 ( All India Engineering Entrance Examination ) merit . Out of which 10% seas will be filled through by U.P. domicile candidates on UP State merit using U.P. state reservation policy, and the rest of 10% seats will be fills through All India merit candidates without reservation.
c) 15 % total seats – to be filled by NRI Management Quota

2. The qualified candidates of AIEEE-2011. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in AIEEE-2011.
By merit of candidates in the qualifying (10+2) examination. For this, candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University securing minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in total of required subject of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology. The candidate is essentially required to pass (as per respective Board/University) in each subject of the subject group. Passing of 10+2 examination with grace marks is acceptable. Their relative merit shall be decided based on total marks in subject combination.
