    All the candidates should apply online. The online application form is available on the website www.dde.nalsar.ac.in or www.nalsarpro.org


    STEP 1: The candidate should register by providing the email id and other details on the registration page. The candidate has to create their password in the registration page itself. The email id entered in the registration page will be their login id and the password created there will be the password for opening the online application form.


    STEP 2: The candidate should login using the login id and password.


    STEP 3: Kindly go through the Admission Notification for complete details on the Dash Board and proceed for filling the application form.


    STEP 4: Fill all the details in the application form. All mandatory fields (with *) should be filled compulsorily. Upload all the documents and the photograph as listed in the application form.


    STEP 5: After filling all the details PRESS ‘Update Profile’ to save the data entered by you. Candidates can login and keep entering / modifying the data using Update Profile each time. Do not Press the SUBMIT button till you complete the process and verify the same.


    STEP 6: Verify all the information and the uploaded documents and PRESS ‘Download / Print’ button to save your application form with you as back up and future reference. Once all the information is verified and downloading of the form is complete then PRESS ‘SUBMIT’ button. After submission, changes cannot be made in the application form.


    STEP 7: After submission, the next step is to make the Payment. Make the payment using the PayU payment gateway. Please verify the amount of fee from the Admission Notification for the selected programme before making the payment.


    STEP 8: If your payment transaction is successful, you will receive an acknowledgement. Please keep a copy of the acknowledgement along with the application form for future reference. If the payment transaction is failed then you need to do the payment process again till your transaction is successful. The payment acknowledgement can be downloaded from the 'Downloads' tab after successful payment.


    Note: There is no need to submit the Printed Copy of the Application Form. Hence, the candidates are required to provide the correct information and upload all the relevant documents along with the photograph without fail.     Eligibility:

    Admission to the LLM Degree Programme is through an All India Entrance Test organised by the University.

    To be eligible for appearing in the entrance test to the two year LL.M. Degree Course, a candidate should have passed the LL.B. / B.L. degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% of marks in the aggregate.

    Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination can appear for the test on condition that they produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed marks at the time of interview.

    Admission Procedure: Candidates for LL.M. course will be selected by the Admission Committee consisting of the Vice-Chancellor as the Chairperson and three other members of the Faculty nominated by the Vice-Chancellor as members. Admission will be granted based on a combined assessment of: (a) performance at an admission test conducted for the purpose (b) past academic record at the LL.B. / B.L. Degree and (c) performance at the interview to determine the candidate’s aptitude for higher studies and research.

    Entrance Test: The Entrance test for the LL.M. Course will be held at 3.00 p.m. on the Third Sunday in May of every year at all the centres mentioned for B.A., LL.B.(Hons.) entrance test.
    Maximum time for the test is 2 hours and maximum marks will be 200. Questions will be based on General Topic, Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence. Candidates are required to answer one General Essay, two questions each on Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence. Each question carries 40 marks. Each question should be answered in not less than 500 words and credit will be given to originality of ideas, writing skill and clarity of thought.

    Duration, Intake and Distribution of Courses

    The duration of the LL.M. course is two years and each year comprises two semesters. The intake for each area of specialisation will be a maximum of ten inclusive of not more than three foreign nationals. Each candidate must choose an area of specialisation from the following:

    1.       Human Rights.

    2.       Environment Law

    3.       Intellectual Property

    4.       Corporate Law and Governance (including International Business)

    5.       Insurance Laws

    6.       Constitutional Law

    7.       Criminal Law

    Note: A subject specialisation will be on offer only if sufficient number of students opts for it.

    FEE STRUCTURE: Annual tuition fee Rs. 30,000/-. Academic support service and other fees, Hostel and Mess Charges will be extra. Hostel Residence is compulsory.
