  • About National Academy of Construction:

    Since its inception in the year 1998, National Academy of Construction has emerged as a distinctive institution and one of its kind for providing training and development of all types of construction resources, technologies and methodologies for fast track completion of projects.


    Construction is one such area where technology is developing at a very fast rate. Hence one needs proper understanding of the technology and importance of proper training. Starting with one centre and five trades and training 150 technicians per year, NAC has grown surely and steadily to 138 centres through out AP and 21 trades today with target of training 1,00,000 technicians per annum. Apart from this its operations are reaching the nooks and corners of India, and also beyond sea sparing no hard ship and hindrance.


    For Administrative convenience NAC has created six regional centres in Guntur, Kadapa, Vishakapatnam, Karimnagar, Rajahmundry and Hyderabad which are also headed by Regional Directors, Assistant Directors are appointed in each district for better co-ordination and Quality control of the training programmes.


    To augment and play an effective role, NAC is now establishing three Zonal centres with a capacity of 2000 trainees per annum in each Zonal centre. These Advanced Skills Training Institutes (ASTI) at Pulivendula in Kadapa district, Jagityal in Karimnagar district, Bommaru near Rajahmundry in East Godavari district and Arasavelli in Srikakulam district are expected to become the future hubs of trades training. Thus NAC will be having three Zonal centres in all the three regions of the state. The Advanced Skill Training Institutes consists of Administrative Block, Classrooms, Staff rooms, Boys and Girls Hostels, Staff Quarters, Play Area, Auditorium and Amphitheatre etc.


    NAC has presently 713 Employees on its rolls in different centres of Andhra Pradesh, who are working with the organization in Key positions and instrumental in shaping the career of the trainees of NAC. The NAC faculty, trained at reputed institutes brings to the classroom professional capabilities, wide exposure and years of hands-on industry experience committed to grow in their profession, the faculties constantly upgrade their skills and knowledge to provide quality training to the trainees


    The National Academy of Construction (NAC) has emerged as an apex body for development of all types of construction resources, technologies and methodologies for fast track completion of projects. It is established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and is registered as a Society and incorporated as Public Charitable institution. It is managed by a Board of Governors with the Hon ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh as its Chairman and Hon ble Minister for Roads and Buildings as Vice Chairperson.


    Spread over 46.46 acres of prime of land in Hyderabad, allotted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh NAC conducts all construction lead related training programmes under one roof . It houses eight constituent units covering all sectors of the Construction Industry. The campus has an auditorium with 500 seating capacity, seminar halls, class rooms, hostel blocks, dormitory, Quality Control and Testing Laboratory for construction materials, Post Graduate Block Workshops etc. The Institution runs based mainly on voluntary contributions of Builders Association of India of Andhra Pradesh chapter.

    Graduate in Civil Engineering from any recognized university. Experience in construction industry is preferable.

    Duration: The duration of the course is 24 weeks structured full time Academic knowledge based training at the National Academy of Construction, Hyderabad followed by 24 weeks Internship with the industry.


    How to apply:

    Applications for the above courses are invited from the eligible candidates. The application forms for each course can be downloaded from www.nac.edu.in or they can also be collected from Smt. S.R. Malini Devi, Dy. Director, 9393007908.

    The filled in applications together with a demand draft Rs. 1000/- for an amount of Rupees One Thousand Only, obtained from any Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of Director General, National Academy of Construction, Hyderabad.
