    Eligibility: Pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of the Government of Kerala or any other examination recognized by the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto with not less than 50% of the aggregate marks and 50% of marks in the Entrance Exam held by the Institute. Scheduled Caste/ Tribe candidates are eligible for relaxation of 5% of marks. Candidates who are awaiting the results are also eligible to apply. COURSE FEE: Rs. 25.000/- per year and the Caution Deposit/Exam and other fees.
    How to apply: Prospectus and application form can be had from the office of the Institute directly on payment of Rs.750/- by way of DD drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of the National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies payable at Ernakulam. For applicants belonging to SC/ST the cost of Prospectus and Application will be Rs. 375/-. Application can also be had by post on request by sending DD for Rs. 800/- for general candidates and Rs.425/- for SC/ST candidates. Community Certificate shall have to be produced for getting the application at the concessional rate. Completed applications should reach NIALS Office on or before: 14-7-2005, 5 p.m. Last date for issue of applications by post 9-7-2005. 5 seats are reserved for candidates from out side the Kerala State. 10% of seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates and 10% seats are reserved for other Backward Communities belonging to the Kerala State.
    Comments: The Entrance Test will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Kozhikode, Chennai and New Delhi on 31-7-2005. It will be for 3 hours duration The questions will cover General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning-Numerical/Logical and Aptitude for Legal Studies. For further details, log on to the website
