National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped established in the year 1984 at Manovikasnagar, Secunderabad (AP) is an Autonomous Body under the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India and thus the institute is fast approaching towards its silver jubilee to celebrate its dedicated services to persons with mental retardation in the national interest.

Minimum educational requirement for admission to this course is 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology subjects. In case of general category aggregate marks should be 50% and above and in other categories aggregate marks should be 45% & above the candidate should have also passed English as a subject of study (core or elective) in the qualifying examination.
The admission to the course is based on the marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Age: The Candidate must be less than 21 years of age as on 01.08.2016.
Number of seats: 20 (Out of which 3 seats are reserved for SC, 01 seat reserved for ST candidates and 01 seat for person with physical disability in one lower limb only). 85% of total seats will be offered to candidates from

The minimum requirement for the candidates seeking admission to this B.Ed Course is B.A./BSc/B.Com or and equivalent degree at graduate level. The eligibility for admission is 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2+3 pattern or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
