  • About National Law School of Delhi:

    National Law School of Delhi (NLSD) Established in 2008 by Act 1 of 2008 of National Capital Territory of Delhi is another premier Law University joining the band of premier Law Universities established in India. Vision of the University is to create a premier Global Legal Institute which would compete with the best within and outside India, with a view to imparting knowledge of various aspects of law to the youngsters and introduce them to wide range of opportunities in legal profession across the globe. The state of art infrastructure of University with all facilities for learning and research in law is nearing completion at Sector 14, Dwarka, and New Delhi. The University invites applications for a five year integrated BA LLB (Hons) degree programme for the academic year 2008-2009 commencing from August, 2008.

    Eligibility:

    Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or equivalent Examination with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate (those who are appearing in the examination in March/April, 2011 can also apply)
    Age: Below 21 years as on 1st July, 2011 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates)

    Total Seats: 80 (eighty) [70 (Seventy) seats on merit through All India Law Entrance test (AILET) and 10 (ten) seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit]. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.

    Reservation: 15% for SC Candidates, 7.5% for ST Candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities.

    Scholarships: The University provides liberal financial assistance for the needy and deserving students

    Test Centers: Admission will be strictly on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) to be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Patna on May 1, 2011.


    How to apply:

    Interested candidates may apply along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) for General Candidates, Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) in case of SC.ST and Person with Disability (PD) drawn in favour of "REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI", payable at Delhi along with copies of requisite Caste/PD Certificate. There is no application fee for Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category (copy of BPL certificate from competent authority to be enclosed with application). All details including Application Form & Eligibility Criteria are available on the University website: http://nludelhi.ac.in.

    Applications complete in all respects must reach in person or by post, to the REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI, Sector-14, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078, on or before April 11, 2011. Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained. The University will not be responsible for any postal/courier delay.
