National Medical College, NMC

An applicant with 10+2 years of education or Intermediate of Science or A Level, equivalent course of study with English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry as principal subjects with 50% or more marks in aggregate is eligible to apply for the MBBS course and for P.G. course one must have passed MBBS from recognized University and must be Registered to Medical Council.

Selection Criteria

The selection of applicants is done by an

F       Entrance Examination followed by an interview.

F       Indian students needn't have any exam or interview.

F       Nominees of His Majesty's Government of Nepal needn't have entrance exam or interview.

F       IOM (TU) for Nepali Students.

Supporting Documents

Applicants applying for MBBS/PG course must attach all the following supporting documents with their completed application forms and send them to National Medical College. The original certificates of the same will have to be submitted at the time of admission.

1.      Attested copy of Mark Sheets of SLC, ISc or 10+2 system or an equivalent examination.

2.      Attested copy of Provisional Certificates of SLC, ISc or10+2 system or an equivalent examination.

3.      Attested copy of character or conduct certificate.

4.      Attested copy of Migration Certificate.

5.      Attested copy of transfer certificate from the academic institution or 10+2 school last attended.

6.      Attested copy of proof of Citizenship/ Resident certificate/ Passport.

7.      Three copies of Passport size photograph.

8.      Attested copy of Birth Certificate.

9.      MBBS or equivalent certificate with Tran.*

10.  Internship completion certificate.*

11.  Medical Council Registration Certificate.*

Prospectus and Application Form

Interested students can get Prospectus with Application form directly from our office on payment of Rs 500/- or US$ 20/- by A/C payee Bank Drat in the name of National Medical College, Birgunj, Nepal payable at Kathmandu/Kolkatta through S.B.I. or any other Nationalized bank. Duly filled application form with photocopy of Certificates can be submitted to our office at earliest to avoid disappointments.

 Prospectus and Application form can be obtained directly from the National Medical College on payment of Rupees 500/- or can be sent to the student by the College on receipt of a Demand Draft of the same amount or US $20.
