The minimum requirement for admission to the Programme is: A three-year recognized Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in science/agriculture.
Selection Process: The applicants would undertake an Entrance Test and Interview. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Entrance Test and Personal Interview (which factors in the past academic record).
Admission: Candidates who are selected for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma Programme must indicate their acceptance of the admission offer and all related conditions, by paying the entire fees as detailed in the letter of admission before the date stipulated therein. The programme will begin by the Second Week of January 2007 for the students. At this time the students will be given a Manual of Policies and Regulations, which will be binding on them.

Prospectus & Application Form may be obtained between 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on any weekday from NIVL, 4th Floor, Nicco House, 2, Hare Street, Kolkata-700001 either by cash/ demand draft for Rs.750/-, drawn in favour of "Nicco Institute of Biotechnology" and payable at Kolkata.

Academic Calendar: The course is of one year duration with two semesters having 40 credits each. The first semester starts in January, 2007 and the second commences in July, 2007.
Course Fees: The total course fee of the PGDBM Programme is Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh), which would be payable in full at the time of admission. The student would pay the fees payable to WBUT separately as applicable.

Commencement of Classes: From January 15th, 2007.
