The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) is a unique Institute of its own kind in the country, having unconventional and innovative academic programmes. It was established in 1983 by the Government of India. Its foundation stone was laid by former President of India Late Giani Zail Singh on 4th March 1984.
For NEE-I: Candidates should have appeared or passed class-X.
For NEE-II: Candidates should have appeared or passed class-X (Voc)/ (PCM)/ ITI/ NERIST/ (PCB) or candidate should be certificate holder in AE/ CE/ ECE/ EE/ ME.
For NEE-III: Candidates should have passed 3 years diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering & Tech.
Application Procedure for NEE 2018:
Candidates can apply online.
Application fee is Rs. 750/- + transaction charges for General/ OBC and Rs. 400/-+transaction charges for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Paper Pattern for NEE 2017:
For NEE-I: It is conducted in one paper of 150 marks of three hours duration consisting of three sections viz. section A (Physics), section B (Chemistry) and section C (Mathematics).
For NEE-II: It is conducted in one paper of 150 marks of three hours duration. The examination paper consists of either three or four sections.
For NEE-III: Question paper for NEE-III consists of four sections viz. section A, section B, section C and section D.
