Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination of the plus two pattern of Tamilnadu or an examination (like the CBSE) recognized by the universities as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply for UG Courses, subject to the condition that the candidates satisfy certain special conditions prescribed by the University for admission to respective courses.

Eligibility Certificate: Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination such as the CBSE, ICSE need not produce the eligibility certificate of the Bharathiar University but they have to pay a fee prescribed by the University towards the same.

The admission shall be made purely on the basis of merit subject to the rules of reservation of the Government of Tamilnadu. The following certificates in original have to be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission.

·         Original mark statement issued by the examination authority

·         Provisional Certificate (for PG admission)

·         Transfer Certificate

·         Community Certificate

·         One set of attested photocopies of the above certificates

Application form

Application forms for admission will be available at the college premises from the first week of May, every year. Duly filled - in forms signed by the candidate and countersigned by the parents/guardian of the applicant may be submitted at the admission counters and acknowledgement slips obtained. Those applying for more than one course should do so in separate application forms. There will be a counselling unit to provide general assistance and guidance to students, parents / guardians, which will operate from 11 am to 1 pm on all working days.

Candidates who have successfully completed bachelor's degree of the Bharathiar University or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply for PG Courses, subject to certain specific conditions prescribed by the University for Admission to respective courses.

Eligibility Certificate:  Candidates who have passed the UG Degree Examination conducted by Bharathiar University and other Universities need not produce the eligibility certificate. Candidates from other universities should produce an eligibility certificate for the confirmation of admission.
