1. A pass in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from any Govt. recognised Board passed in first attempt)
2. Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
3. Min. 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.
Age
Below 25 years. (For 2010 academic year admission, candidate must be born after 16.08.1985)
Medical Examination
Must be found medically fit by institute recognised Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) approved Doctors.
Eye Sight
1. Shall be neither "colour blind" nor "night blind".
2. Power for each eye is permitted upto ±2.5 for B.S. (ME) Students.
3. For B.S. (NT) Students 6/6 power is must.

2. Application processing fee of Rs.1000/- (excluding bank charges / DD Commission) to be paid by any of the following options:
