Nationality and Age

Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India are eligible to apply for the SRMJEEE (UG).

Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under the ‘International Student’ category only.

Candidates should also have attained a minimum age of 16 years and 6 months on 31st of July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held (source).

Qualifying Examination

All B.Tech programmes Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM

·          Passed in Higher Secondary examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies as major subjects in the regular stream from any state boards within India, CBSE, ICSE, Matriculation, or NIOS.

Note: Students who have completed 10+2 under the NIOS must have also completed the 10th standard from a regular schooling or vice-versa (source).

·          GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies as major subjects (equivalent to an Advanced Placement level in each subject) in any international school within India.

B.Tech – SRMJEEE Application 2021

Everything you need to know

1.     The online application is for admission to B.Tech programmes offered in SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram and NCR), SRM University - Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University, AP - Andhra Pradesh.

2.     Application Form Fee is Rs.1100/ - and it is Non-Refundable.

3.     Email ID submitted at the time of registration will be used for all correspondences until enrolment is completed. Change in Email ID will NOT be permitted under any circumstances.

4.     NRI/PIO/OCI candidates are also eligible to apply.

5.     Fully submitted application will be kept open for editing, except for Email ID and mobile number.

6.     Course preference is collected for statistical purpose only, final decision on course selection would be made on the day of counselling.

Note: Conduct of exam and Joint Counseling will be as per UGC, AICTE, and Government Notification Mode of entrance: Computer-based Exam. If the Entrance based exam is not conducted then admission will be based on +2/JEEE/SAT Score
