Sanchi University for Buddhist-Indic Studies shall be located very close to Sanchi - the world heritage site, famous for the stupa & ancient relics of Lord Buddha. The University has been allocated 100 acres of land, in fact a hillock on the Bhopal-Sanchi highway not far from the tropic of cancer. The picturesque location is surrounded by green fields & forest laden hills.
Sanchi is one of the famous pilgrimage centers for the Buddhist pilgrims. There are a number of reputed Buddhist centers in eastern India and Nepal, but no other place boasts of a direct connection with the life of Lord Buddha, as Sanchi. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in the relevant subjects with the required percentage are eligible to apply for M.A. in Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies'.
Graduation in any discipline from any university/college established by law with minimum 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/OBC) or Equivalent grade.
Note: Preference will be given to students having graduate degree in the concerned subject.
* Reservation: As per M.P. Government Rule.

Mode of Selection:
In view of COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown the admission shall be given on Merit (marks) and Online Interview/Viva-Voce basis for admission in M.A. programmes.

However, candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the entrance examination, but he/she have to submit mark sheet of qualifying examination on or before the date of admission.
