Sanchi University for Buddhist-Indic Studies shall be located very close to Sanchi - the world heritage site, famous for the stupa & ancient relics of Lord Buddha. The University has been allocated 100 acres of land, in fact a hillock on the Bhopal-Sanchi highway not far from the tropic of cancer. The picturesque location is surrounded by green fields & forest laden hills.
Sanchi is one of the famous pilgrimage centers for the Buddhist pilgrims. There are a number of reputed Buddhist centers in eastern India and Nepal, but no other place boasts of a direct connection with the life of Lord Buddha, as Sanchi. Course Description: Master of Arts (MA) [Indian Philosophy, Buddhist Studies, Vedic Studies, Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Chinese Language, Indian Education and Holistic Development]

Eligibility:Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in the relevant subjects with the required percentage are eligible to apply for M.A. in Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies'.
Graduation in any discipline from any university/college established by law with minimum 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/OBC) or Equivalent grade.
Note: Preference will be given to students having graduate degree in the concerned subject.
* Reservation: As per M.P. Government Rule.
* Detailed eligibility criteria for various programmes offered by the university are mentioned in the Prospectus-2020-21, available on the University Website in under the link Admission 2020-21.
Mode of Selection:
In view of COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown the admission shall be given on Merit (marks) and Online Interview/Viva-Voce basis for admission in M.A. programmes.
