For Landscape Architecture: Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or Planning or Master’s Degree in Planning or Equivalent Post-Graduate diploma of a recognized university / institution or certificate of completion or Pre-Landscape Architecture Course of the SPA, New Delhi

For Building Engineering and Management: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Engineering or Architecture or Architectural Engineering or Building Science or Five Years Diploma in Construction Technology or equivalent from a recognized university / institution established by an Act of parliament or State Legislature

For Design (Industrial Design): Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture of a recognized university or equivalent or Bachelor’s Design in Engineering/Design/Fine Arts of a recognized university or equivalent with valid CEED score (essential for non-architectural candidates) from approved streams

Marks: Candidates with atleast 55% marks in aggregate at the qualifying Examination, 50% aggregate marks in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates

Application fee for PG Program/Course is Rs.2500/- for Indian and 300 US Dollar for Foreign National /NRI/PIO can be can be paid electronically only

Filled in Application Form should be send to the Section Officer (A&E Section) by Registered/ Speed Post to the School on or before 16th March, 2018

Short listed/eligible candidates shall be notified on the School’s website and must bring a print out of online filled application along with original certificates & a self-attested photocopies and project work/portfolio etc. at the time of Test/Interview

The School reserves the right to reject/cancel any application without assigning any reason to the applicant

The applicants for admission to the full time Ph.D. Programme should possess any of the following qualifications:

(a)       Master’s Degree in any of the courses conducted by the School or its equivalent conducted by any other recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.         

OR

Master’s Degree in allied disciplines from any recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and ten years experience in teaching/research / professional practice in the area of proposed research.

(b)       Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Planning of the School or its equivalent conducted by any other recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and five years experience in teaching/research/professional practice.

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in allied disciplines from any recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and ten years experience in teaching/research / Professional practice.

Selection Procedure:  Selection of the candidate shall be made by the respective Departmental Research Committee (DRC) after giving due consideration to the qualifications and on interviewing the candidate. All the selections shall be collectively ratified in the Joint Committee of Departmental Research Committee (JCDRC). The Coordinator of Ph.D. Programme (CPP) shall finalist the list of candidates for admission to the Ph.D.  Programmes.

Fellowship: All Scholars with a Master's Degree in the respective disciplines are eligible for fellowship of Rs. 14,000/- per month.  Scholars with Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/ Planning of the School or its equivalent are eligible for the fellowship of Rs. 12, 000/- per month as per Govt. of India (MHRD) rules.  Part-time & in service candidates are not eligible for fellowship.

Intake:  3 (Three) seats each in all the departments.

FN/NRI/PIO (Foreign National (FN)-10%, (Non Resident Indian (NRI)-3% and Person of Indian Origin (PIO)-2%) may apply directly along with documents and registration fee of US dollar 300 (non-refundable). The candidates who have qualified from the foreign boards/universities and recognized as equivalent by the AIU shall be considered. In case of NRIs, who has studied abroad for five years in the last eight years of the stay and has passed the required qualifying examination from that country.  Foreign nationals who are awarded Govt. of India scholarship under various schemes shall be given preference. Detailed guidelines may be obtained from the School.

RESERVATION OF SEATS: Reservations for all the courses will be applicable as per rules of the Government of India.
