Selection Procedure for Shiv Nadar University:

The selection procedure will be made on a basis of written tests CAT/GMAT/XAT/NMAT or candidate has to appear for SMAT.

Personal interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates after written tests.

Financial Assistance:

All admitted students are eligible to be considered for scholarship and/or loans as applicable from banking partners.

Scholarships are available for students with outstanding academic record and performance in the entrance tests.

The financial aid can be for the duration of two year program and cover tuition fees, hostel room charges, and boarding expenses.

A further waiver of 25% of each year’s tuition fee will be awarded to the top five students (maximum of 10% of the class) based on the CGPA at the end of the relevant year.

Candidates should have:

M.E./M.Tech degree in Mechanical/ Aeronautical/ Material Science and Engineering/Mechatronics and Robotics, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point from a recognized technical institute or university. And

B. Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or relevant discipline. Candidates who have qualified for GATE are highly Preferred. Or

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with exceptional academic credentials, good GATE score and strong aptitude for research.
