- About Shivalik Institute of Nursing: Managing committee of Shivalik Educational Welfare Society came into existence on June, 1, 2004 and made lot of contribution in the field of education. The society established Shivalik Institute of Nursing in year 2009 with introduction of B.Sc. Nursing of 4yrs duration and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) 3½ years duration in first instance. The Institution management is firmly dedicated to the cause of society, upbringing health awareness and spread Health education among the people of Himachal Pradesh as well as also to explore employment opportunities in this field .It is also the endeavour of management to keep pace with rapid changes taking place in the modern society in field of health sciences. Management wish to assure everyone here that it will not leave any stone unturned in extending all its effort for the betterment of institution & crafting the future of institution, be it as financial or moral support. We wish all the success to our old and new entrants coming in contact with our management throughout their future life.
The founders of the college i.e. Management of Shivalik Institute of Nursing has a very healthy financial & social status and have many records of accomplishing achievements in the field of spreading knowledge & education in the past also Such as industrial training, Art & Craft , Ayurvedic Pharmacist , Physical Education Training diploma etc. Almost all the students of Ayurvedic Pharmacy from our institute have been placed in Govt jobs in Ayurvedic stream; on the basis of merit. Every member of the Management has enough zeal and keen interest in imparting selfless services to the humanity.
