Applicants to the PhD program must have successfully completed a Master’s degree in Art, Design, or in any other field related and relevant to the area of the candidate’s proposed PhD thesis/project. This may include fields such as architecture, art history, social work, biology, education, and engineering (these fields are indicative but not exhaustive). A five year undergraduate professional degree may also be adequate.

Applicants must demonstrate evidence of art and design practice or engagement with discourse related to any discipline of art and design.

Those seeking to join the Advanced Diploma Program specializing in Animation are expected to be self-motivated students who are unafraid of creatively engaging a variety of fields, working collaboratively in an inter-disciplinary setting. Students who have completed an undergraduate program (Diploma or Bachelors program) in the Arts, Architecture, Science, Engineering, Computer Programming, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences and Business are eligible for entry. If the candidate has not completed an undergraduate program, 2-4 years of professional experience may be considered as an equivalent.

Candidates who have drawing skills and experience and a passion for the arts have an advantage. There is no age requirement for entry into the program. Communication skills in English are essential. The requirements for applying to the program are an application form with personal statements and a portfolio of work to be sent in on CD/DVD. Appropriate candidates will be invited for a personal interview to determine their eligibility.

Candidates must be strongly oriented to being an entrepreneur. Specifically, prospective applicants must have:

a) A feasible business idea (start-up or existing, profit or non-profit) with strong social/environmental impact;

b) A three-year University degree;

c) English Proficiency;

d) Computer and internet literacy;

e) Regular access to IT resources

An entrance exam is not required, but Candidates with GMAT or GRE test would receive added consideration in the selection process

Candidates with no Bachelor Degree but extensive business experience and a strong business idea, may be admitted to the MBA under exceptional circumstance. In such a case, the participant will not be awarded Masters Degree, but a certificate of attendance that under no circumstance will it be considered an academic degree

Candidates with an undergraduate degree that is not recognisd by the Italian or EU University system or deemed to have equivalence will be awarded a diploma

Srishti admits students after 10+2 or its educational equivalent. At Srishti, a student will have to go through a two year Foundation Studies program before being allowed into a 2.5 year specialization in the program of his / her choice. Upon successful completion of the graduating norms of the prescribed program, the student is awarded a professional diploma.

Entry Criteria (any of the following)

Anyone who has successfully completed the 10+2 examination, or its educational equivalent

If you hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent diploma with relevant experience in design, or if you have completed your undergraduate studies equating to 180 ECTS credits for European students, you are welcome to apply to the program.

Fees: The fees for the Advanced Diploma Program in Transcultural Design will be Rs 2.75 lakh per year. This covers the tuition fee for the program. It does not cover your travel and accommodation costs in India and France.
