  • About Swami Vivekanand Subharti University:

    Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is a University under the section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act,1956, set up under the Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidyalay Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008 (U.P. Act No. 29 of 2008) as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented to by the Honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh in September 2008.


    The University has been established under the aegis of Subharti K.K.B. Charitable Trust, Meerut, which has acquired a commendable record of service in the field of Education, Health care and Social Welfare. The main campus of the University is situated in National Capital Region, strategically located on National Highway 58, Delhi bypass road, Meerut, The campus aptly called ‘Subhartipuram’, is spread over a sprawling area of about 250 acres of land comprising magnificent buildings, lush green lawns and vibrant surroundings with over 5000 people, determined to make this a ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of the nation.

    Eligibility:

    At least 55% marks in post-graduation (in relevant subject).

    NOTE Relaxation of 5% marks in eligibility criteria for SC/STIOBC (non-creamy layer) Differently- abled categories candidates will be given. It is also applicable for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19.09.1991.


    How to apply:

    Prescribed application form is available at the Registrar's office or may be downloaded from the University website, Duly filled application form (in hard copy only) should reach Additional Registrar's office along with required documents and non-refundable BD worth Rs. 1500/- (including test fee) in favour of 'Swami Vivekanand Subharti University' payable at Meerut, latest by 17' August 2019. Amount may also be paid through online fee submission form the website.

    Applications of non eligible candidates & incomplete application forms will not be considered. Admit cards will he issued only to eligible candidates & sent through E-mail only.

    Qualified candidates of Entrance Test will be called for an interview, Merit list will be declared after interview. The date and time of interview will be notified separately.

    The applicants who have qualified UGC-JRF/CSIVNET/SLET/GATE or M.Phil. are required to indicate accordingly in the application form for exemption from the written part of the Ph.D. Entrance Test.
