Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, SIMC, Bangalore

Symbiosis International University, SIU, was established under the UGC act by Notification No.F.9-12/2001-U.3 of the Government of India. It is accredited by NAAC with “A” Grade. SIU has 19 Academic. Institutions spread over nine campuses in Pune, Nashik and Bangalore. SIU is the preferred destination for all who aspire to excel ion their chosen profession. 
In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India conferred the “Deemed to be University” status on Symbiosis, and further in 2006 the UGC vide its notification withdrew the word Deemed and renamed the University as Symbiosis International University(SIU).
