  • About TERI School of Advanced Studies:

    TERI SAS's roots can be traced back to 1998, when 'TERI School of Advanced Studies' was established. TERI SAS was conceived to cater to the need of disseminating the vast reservoir of knowledge created by TERI, a not for profit, independent research institute recognized globally for its contribution to scientific and policy research in the realms of energy, environment, and sustainable development. 
    The genesis of TERI SAS is rooted in the comprehensive research, consultancy and outreach activities of TERI. The relationship with TERI has propelled and influenced the evolution of the Deemed University's academic units. This relationship is enshrined in a memorandum of understanding between the Deemed University and TERI, wherein the two have agreed on collaborative research and programmes, joint studies and mutual support for seminars, symposia and conferences. 
    This vision was further strengthened in 1999, when the University was granted "Deemed to be University" status by the University Grants Commission and notified vide Ministry of Human Resources Development, Department of Education, Government of India, notification no. F 9/19/95-U-3 dated October 5, 1999.

    An undergraduate degree in any discipline, from a recognized institution / Deemed to be University.


    Candidates with prior experience in development sector would be preferred, although it is not mandatory.

    3.     Candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying programme will be considered for admission only if they have completed all requirements for award of the qualifying degree by 1 September 2021 and if their provisional degrees are available before 1 November 2021.


    4.     Please provide your correct contact details i.e. Email Id & Mobile No. in the Registration form as all communication will be done over Email and SMS. The details once submitted cannot be changed.


    5.     You will be required to upload a recent scanned/ digital passport size photograph of yourself (with White background) during the application process.


    Size : 2.5 cm x 3.5 cm and less than 100 KB (Formats -> .JPG, .JPEG, .GIF, .TIFF)


    6.     False information or photographs will result in immediate disqualification from the examination process.


    7.     The registration number and other related details will be sent to your registered email id after submission of the registration form.


    8.     There are TWO options available for making the payment after submission of the online registration form.


    ·          To pay online, you can choose ONLINE PAYMENT MODE. The payment can be done via Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card through online secured payment gateway. Please make sure that you tender the correct card details of the Debit / Credit card holder while paying through online payment gateway.


    ·          The other mode of payment is via a DEMAND DRAFT, which needs to be drawn in favor of "TERI School of advanced Studies", payable at New Delhi. You will get a provisional registration number if you choose to pay by a demand draft.


    The Demand Draft should be sent by registered or speed post / courier with a cover letter mentioning your provisional registration number at below address.


    Please note the last date of receiving the demand draft 28 May, 2021. All the demand drafts received after 28th May will not be accepted and hence all such registrations will stand cancelled.

    9.     Candidates are expected to read the eligibility criteria before applying. If we find you are not eligible for the programme, we will send you a message by email after the last date. In this case your registration fees will not be refunded.

    10.  Detailed information about the Online entrance exam will be sent to you in a separate email.

    11.  The Admit Card for the TERI School of advanced Studies Common Entrance Examination 2021 will be sent by email/SMS few days before the date of online exam. TERI School of advanced Studies Common Entrance Examination will be held on 5 & 6 June 2021 (Saturday & Sunday) for all candidates.

    12.  Please do not fill the online registration form twice; this might result in rejection due to duplication of your records. In case you want to apply for additional courses, please drop email to admissions@terisas.ac.in

    13.  If you have any queries about the registration or have problems registering please contact us at below given numbers between 09:30 am and 06:00 pm. (Monday to Friday) except public holidays.
