There is no written test or interview for admission to MTech (CS/AI/IT), and it is based on the order of merit in the GATE score in Computer Science and Information Technology.

Admission to MTech. IC Technology will be through an interview for the short listed candidates based on the order of merit in the GATE score in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering or Physics (there is no written test)

Relaxation in the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying degree examination is also provided for SC/ST/PH categories.
