  • About University of Jammu:

    The University of Jammu, accredited as 'A' grade University by National Assessment & Accreditation Council of India came into existence in 1969 vide Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act 1969 following bifurcation of the erstwhile University of Jammu and Kashmir.





    The University provides instructions in such branches of learning as it deems fit and makes provision for research and the advancement and dissemination of knowledge. The University stands for spiritual and material elements in life, thirst for knowledge and virtue under the backdrop of holy peaks of Trikuta Hills. University of Jammu holds examinations, grants degrees, generates knowledge and confers diverse academic distinctions on persons who pursue approved courses of study in the University or in constituent colleges/institutions approved for the purpose also for those who appear as external/private candidates.





    It also confers honorary degrees or other distinctions on the persons of exceptional caliber. The University also admits, maintains, recognizes, affiliates colleges and other institutions. It is primarily a research, teaching, affiliating, examining body involved in promotion of arts, science and other branches of learning. The University is open to all classes and creeds with the sole objective to carry people from darkness to light.

    The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or any other equivalent examination. Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying examination in 2020/2021, as the case may be, can also apply provisionally as per the University statues. Further, the candidate must have appeared in CAT 2020/ AIMA-MAT (September 2020/December 2020/February 2021/May 2021/June 2021) and CMAT 2021 (Cut off 40 percentile are eligible to apply).

    The detailed Admission Notification and the Application Form can be downloaded from the website: www.jammuuniversity.ac.in. Application Forms are also available in the Office of ICccR & HRM w.e.f. March 29, 2021 against a Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of Director, ICccR & HRM, University of Jammu, payable at Jammu. Application Forms downloaded from the Website must be accompanied by Bank Draft as per above. Such application/s must be accompanied by a scanned copy of the supporting documents. The last date for submission of Application Form, complete in all respects by hand/ post/ through e-mail at officeicccrandhrm@gmail.com, is up to May 31, 2021.

    ·         General Knowledge - 40 questions
    ·         Reasoning - 40 questions
    ·         Numerical Ability - 30 questions
    ·         For every wrong answer, there shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks. The candidate securing less than 30% marks for general category and 25% for SC/ST category shall not be eligible for admission. The following weightage shall be given to the candidates:
    ·         Academic Merit - 75%
    ·         Entrance Test - 25%
    ·         There shall be two question papers for JUET-2018, one for the candidate appearing after 12th class and other for the candidates appearing after graduation
    ·         The level of numerical ability shall be of 10th standard only for both the question papers
    ·         The level of test for other components shall be of 12th standard in case of candidate appearing after 12th class and graduation standard for the candidates appearing after graduation
    Exam Center
    JUET shall be conducted at the following Centres - Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Rajouri, Poonch, Srinagar and Leh, Delhi and Chandigarh
    Admit Card
    Candidates will be allowed to download their respective admit card in between 05th June 2018 to 10th June 2018. You need to go to the official website for downloading your admit card

    How to apply:

    ·         Candidates will be required to apply online exclusively through the website www.juet.in

    ·         Once the JUET Entrance application form is submitted online, the system will generate a challan form pre-printed with the candidate's details
    ·         The candidates are required to pay the requisite fee at any of the designated Branch* of the Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd. nearest to him/her through offline mode
    ·         The applicants are requested to positively collect hard copy of JUET-2018 Brochure from the J&K Bank Ltd. at the time of payment of requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee through computer generated challan, the process for the online application will be completed
    ·         Application Fee for the Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) to be charged from each candidate is Rs.650/- for General Category and Rs.550/- for SC/ST/ST (Leh Kargil). The candidate desirous to be considered under self financing seats has to pay additional Rs.550/- along with the requisite Entrance Fee
